Do ratings affect whether you download a game?

Nope, never cared about this nonsense.

At first it was all about the quality of the preview renders. But as I got more into AVNs I learned to listen to the advice of others in the community. Saves a lot of time and disappointment.

Order of priority that I check out a game:
1. Title image
2. Title
3. Engine
4. Tags
5. Stars along with the amount of people voting

Generally 3-5, with a few hundreds is good, 5 stars with 1 person not so much
If all the other box checks out, I go ahead and download despite reviews and comments

Not really I focus on the isnges displayed and the theme of the game

Rating does not affect my decision. Tags and screenshots do have an effect.

If it has sub 2 stars i judge it to have something wrong with it and read comments for further info.

To some degree, if it's under 3 stars it tends to have glaring issues. But allot of games hover around a 3 star because people are sensitive to some extreme fetishes, even if they're avoidable. And some games get 5 stars simply for having great renders, even if the writing is borderline unreadable. Individual reviews are far more telling than overall rating to me.

NO.. I look at tags.. and screenshots.

If it has like a 1 or 2 star rating, there's a reason...

When looking at games, do you pay attention to the ratings?

If so, do 'low' ratings make you less likely to download a game?

What are your thresholds for being wary of, or even not downloading a game, based on its rating?

Personally, when there's enough ratings, I generally am wary of anything below a 4/5, and unless in an exceptional situation probably wouldn't download a game under 3.5/5.
comments and the pics do mostly.

it could also just be tags people dont like if its a new game.
I hate the unpopular tags (futa, ntr, etc), so if it has them I wouldn't look in the 1st place.

Usually not... unless they are extremely bad. I have my flavor preferences and I know that not everyone shares them, so I try out things that I hope are going to be good.

I usually look at other parameters, but if I want to try something new I sometimes try a really high rated game to see what the fuss is about.

If it is below 2.5 I generally stay away, unless renders look that good

High ratings easy download, low ratings look at the reviews
Some shitty games, like AWAM, have very high ratings on the other site. For some reason endless teasing no sex games get a lot of fanbois. Also, if it has tags you hate, the fans of such will rate it high.

more comments than ratings. not everyone is right, but its easy tro see if something isnt worth the time
