discussion Are you a Reader or Speeder?

I can read very fast so it helps when reading VIZNovels. This superpower help me read college textbooks and contracts quickly, and help me digest erotica and Viznovels quickly too.

The only text that has hampered me is Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time Series. I've been stuck on BOOK TWO of a 15 book series for 2-3 MONTHS.

It really depends on the story. Some storylines are really worth reading. But then there are games that have horrible stories an i just want to get to the images. I think i habe just about 5 gmaes i relly read all of the lines. Off all the other games i estaimate I speed trough 25% always, and 75% i speed/read mixed.

Read through the intro / first few minutes of gaming. If I get the gist, i'll speed. If I don't like the story but enjoy the art, I'll speed. If I like the story, I'll read.

I read all for the most part, except stuff that's just grindy repetitions or if the story itself holds no interest but it still manages to look good and I want to see more.

It really depends on the game... I'm not focusing on block after block of text if you haven't already enthralled me.

A bit of both. First time I read all text unless it just becomes a speech. Second time playing I've read it all so I'll skip sometimes.

I always give a chance to storytelling. But more than once you get VNs written by some really questionable writers. Or when they prolong the story and add so much nonsense in between their main plot. The guardian is an example of excessive nonsense, while Dating My Daughter legit contains good story every panel.

When the story is good i m a attentive reader. In an other side, when the renders is interesting but the quality of the text is not good, i m a fucking speeder

When I start using the speeder this tells me the game is over for me. A good game I enjoy all renders and text.

If the story is no good then I don't see much point in playing the AVN. Characters are important to me and their personality dictates whether I like them as much as their looks. Therefore I read.

If I'm actually into a game I'll read everything, but if I just wanna see the sex scenes I'll just speed through it.

Its hard to be a slow reader when most games are developed iteratively and tag on more content. Re-reading the same lines just doesn't hit the same way.
