Yea that can work, but I'd assume you need extra art / animations to do so. And whilst normally I'd be like hell yeah! In this field of gaming where dev's just say fuck it then I'd rather have them work on the actual scenes and characters rather then waste time with small details. It's kind of annoying, I love seeing polished AVNs but at the same time usually that comes at the cost that the dev is going to scrooge mcduck their patrons with the excuse being that the game is "such HQ".
You make a good point but I do kind of feel like creators are underappreciated. Or at least monetarily. But that could also be from the rising cost of living and interest rates. ugh

Half n' half for me. If it's a game I've played before, I'll speed through it. Otherwise, I'll take a little extra time going through.

Issue is big and popular games (Summertime Saga for instance) will grab most of the attention. It took me like a full year or two of playing AVNs before I started branching out. I used to just play a few games and that was that. I also used to ONLY play OC content (so handdrawn) back then but quickly got off it since I realised people actually knew what they were doing with animation and models. But the big games will just overshadow others. I've seen some really high quality games with good content and frequent updates that make half if not 1/3rd of their "competition". I also feel that as soon as certain devs spike in money that they tend to slow down and usually results into a dead game. So maybe in a fucked up way it's good that they have to put in serious effort. But I'm very glad certain games just get attention and love from the get go and it doesn't get changed down the development road.

I feel there is still a lot of unknown out there for me. Im still pretty fresh when it comes to games but ive had interest in this type of content since I hit puberty. I still feel excited when I open a new game for the first time and it is something completely different from the last game I played. Im worried I may pass a point where you know, Ive played everything and im waiting on specific updates for a few of my faves.

Been there plenty of times.. These days I just like to download games that are already in development for a while (think of maybe post patch 0.5 or so for most) since I absolutely despise downloading a game I'm already playing knowing that after 1 or 2 scenes the update will end again and you'll have to wait. In my head I'm just almost calculating when I expect the game to cuck me, same reason I don't look into the replay gallery for most games (unless it's my first time every opening it, then I might peek to see if it's worth). Then again, there is soooooooo much out there holy fuck. I always smoke weed when I'm playing so sometimes I mix games up, or forget about them and then run across is again half a year or a year later with much joy. But I guess that's only for the clouded memory types like me haha

There really is a lot. There are ones that I havent seen here but I follow elsewhere. IDK if you have heard of 'Hummingbird' but I was pretty impressed with it. still seems far from finished and the art style is is love or hate for most id say but still impressive.

No I have not, I've got a big backlog of games I either gotta play new updates on or still have to play in general but I'll remember it somehow. Really depends on the mood I'm in either. I've had at times zero tolerance for no animation games (or very little animation being done) but other times if the game story is good and I enjoy the models enough I have a blast playing these since they usually have way more text since they're skipping on the animation department.

As many before me have said, depends on the game and the story, and for me as a non native English speaker it also depdends on the amount of text.... I usually don't start a game and think -hey, now English class is starting, let's get learning lol

hummingbird is ran on the unreal engine I believe. It is First person and the plot is you just opened up a daycare and it goes on from there. Really worth checking out if you are into loli and want a 3D first person experience.

I totally get it. There are some Japanese games out there im impressed with but navigating through the game without any Japanese language experience makes it super difficult.

I usually really do not like 3d games since they play awful and I don't mind having my left or right hand free in these type of games. I really prefer Renpy games over anything since they're usually basic and hte interface etc is all simple. Might still give it a go, not super into loli specifically but that also depends. Thanks for the tip either way, appreciate ya!

If i like the story i will read the games, if it's boring, if the dialogue is badly written or bad grammar (understand that not everybody is fluent in english) i usually skip through it.
This^
There're also the games that just never seem to end (looking at you, Sweet Affection), after awhile no matter how invested I may have been in the story or characters in the beginning, after two or more years, I just want to see what happens next.

As long as I like the story and have not played it before I read. Else I speed or drop it. If a game gets grindy I often resort to console.

depends on the game, although i am a little weird and almost never fully view sex scenes in games, but for the most part i usually read most of the text and depending on the length of the sex scene will watch a little at the start then skip through it( the main culprit that started this for me were Talothral's games which while i love the games the sex scenes feel like they are full length films at times.

Depends, if its a solid and immersive story then I'll usually read it, if its dumb or the girls just fall into your bed for no reason and the art is good then I'll skip.
