Such hot weather was nearly unknown of in last decades in my place, but now with climatic change it's like every years, last year there were even four heatwave periods.
Saw a headline recently that was saying "Good News, this wasn't the hottest July in history for the first time in 5 years!"
Like it was an accomplishment.

Degenerate in the forum maybe. I bet you're really just an innocent schoolboy IRL
Oh shit...I fucked up. Momma Bonk don't leave me alone with
@conzibald ....he does things....unspeakable things when you're gone!
Who do you think is filming? You're calling for the manager of the rapist!
I always wonder about that with those interviews, even ones where they're interviewing a limited crowd, e.g. people at a protest about their political beliefs I wonder how many they have to ask before they find someone talking about how everything is colonialism or everyone with brown skin needs to go back to Mexico to feature on the show.
When people get worked up, they'll do say all sorts of dumb shit. At protests they're already surrounded by like-minded people, so it's probably not that hard to find someone to say outrageous things. If everyone around you feels the same way, the most extreme views don't seem as extreme.
Definitive Ass Penetration although around here we just call it the "Conzi Special", might hit a few holes on the way, but its definitely coming....
Good news, it's quick and painless!
These scenarios don't just arise due to the culture involved. Were there not several decades/centuries where teaching the Native language was illegal. There have been several instances around the world through history where indigenous peoples or cultures have been systematically suppressed and attempts made to eradicate anything that is not approved of by the authorities in charge. Think about the effects of all those Christian missionaries from the European Colonial expansion era. Same as all those forced relocations of communities from areas that were of significance to those cultures just because those forcing the movement felt they had more right to it because they had more power.
You are right, repression is at least a part of the cause for some of these views. But, like I said before, times change.
If you're not going to adapt to try and overcome, you'll get left behind.
Also, a lot of the knowledge we have of those cultures exists because missionaries made sure to write down as much about their history, language, and society as they could. Conquerors, colonists, and explorers were perfectly content to destroy the culture's they found in order to control those people.
You should know that missionaries are called that because they are on a mission. That mission is to convert others to their religion.
That's not as altruistic as you seem to think. The reason they wrote all that down was so it could be used to integrate a people into their religion.
They're not trying to preserve it, they would use it as a method of control.
After the Haiti earthquakes and disasters in 2010, many different missionaries went over to help rebuild. But, even then, a main focus was to re-establish churches or build new ones.
Actual missionaries were usually opposed to the destruction and exploitation they'd find when they arrived. There aren't a whole lot of people who believe strongly enough to dedicate their lives to faith while still being ok with slavery and murder.
This is... just wrong. Maybe the murder, slavery and destruction is uncommon nowadays, but it absolutely has been fair game for thousands of years.
That knowledge that has been preserved till now will only survive for as long as the people controlling it and those in power deem that it is convenient to do so. The moment it's not we're back to 'book burnings' again.
Yes, but in some cases the people who are controlling it are the same as the people saying it's being lost!
I like Reese's Pieces. Although I also enjoy candy corn, so I'm probably just weird. White chocolate Reese's are ok. White chocolate M&Ms however are downright addictive.
I am a big fan of Hershey's Hugs myself. Little white chocolate balls covered in milk chocolate. Don't really like Kisses that much though.
At a protest probably not many. Just walking the streets on an ordinary day they probably talk to about 5 times as many people as they feature in the video.
Way waaay more than 5 times. If we're talking about the man in the streets type videos, they'll interview 100s of people everyday, with one film crew. Many time they will set up multiple filming areas and set up a little sign so people wait for them to show up for the interviews.
