I think I paid less than $10 for it, for a full game with DLC I can't complaint too much (and IF I did who would care?).

No, she went to a Locks of Love person to find out which place would do the cutting. (Salons and hairdressers that help the charity)
The charity lady told her not to donate it, but to sell it.
The guy she sold it to makes wigs. Both for his job and also as donations to the charity (I'd bet he gets a tax break for donating labor)
In exchange for the referral of cousin's good hair, he donates wigs to Locks of Love.
But, her hair was going to be used for his own profit. (or skin suit)
I should add that she was locally famous where she is from. That might be why she got so much, too. (I'm not sure fame increases hair prices)
I'm not going to say how she was famous, but someone made a statue of her.

IF that's the case- it's sounds kind of black market. How much is a kidney worth? A heart?

No, it was a new console, it only used the old controllers, just like you can also play Xbox Series with Xbox One controllers, or PlayStation 5 with PlayStation 4 controllers (I don't know if many games use them, but I know it's possible).
The gamepad was just Wii U controller, it had no processing power. It was not a portable. The console was both the videogame and the controller (which weren't sold separately, so if you broke it, you're in for a bad time).
When Sony announced that PlayStation Portal many people joked that it was Sony's Wii U, because it is just a controller with a screen that needs to be connected to a videogame to be played. Hahaha

Well, the reading and spelling thing CAN present issues even with a computer. I'm sure you've seen those FB posts...
"Core math" adds visualization to something that we didn't need. My point is why couldn't they just learn the same way.

Story Time:
My buddy had a hard time getting his daughter to study and her grades were less than mediocre. She wouldn't listen to him when he tried to help her- because that's not how she was being taught. Same Lessons. Same Knowledge. Different Method.
I offer to tutor her- she gives me an essay or report on fucking something.
I break out the red pen and correct it. She's visibly upset and asks why I did it.
I said you misspelled words, there's no punctuation, no capitalization, no paragraphs, the wrong tenses of verbs, run-on sentences, incomplete sentences, and it just reads bloody awful- like you half paid attention to the lesson or book.
To which she replies, "Oh, the teacher doesn't care about any of that." It WAS an ENGLISH CLASS!
We move on to Maths (why, I don't know, maybe I'm paying for the sins of a past life...)
Just as atrocious as the English lesson- all these bubbles drawn all over the damn place AND the answers were still wrong.
This time she says, "The teacher doesn't care if we're right, just that we're 'close' to the right answer."
So I asked her one simple question. "Okay [Redacted], Lets say it's my job to figure out your paycheck at the end of the week, for all the long, hard hours that you've put into your job- Do you want me to be accurate or "close".
She just stared at me like a deer in fuckin' headlights...

Just remember to use a cup with black insides, that way it doesn't look like you've been drinking dirt.

But if you do that, how can you tell if it's well seasoned?

I rinse well and wipe the rim where things can get a little weird, but I don't worry too much about the staining. My favorite is kind of a natural/ecru color on the inside with deep blue glazing on the outside. Based on where I bought it, probably from Mexico; probably something toxic in the clay and the glaze - but I've had it for about 15 years and have only grown one extra toe.

i have a question for you guys - my terabyte HDD is almost getting full of lewd games, how do you deal with this? just get a 2 tb HDD? get an external SSD and to copy the games over as backup? transferring this much data to an external SSD seems to take really long, so I'm not sure how I'll sustain this if it keeps growing over the years

First I'm impressed with the amount of lewd games on your computer, I would probably just by an external HDD to move them over to. Too bad the prices went up since I last bought one.
