Anything I order from online Chinese sites like Temu get lost or stolen.

As they now use third party delivery companies that just don't care.

Here's a picture of your item it was delivered today three minutes ago.

Kicker here it was never delivered or dropped at my door with the camera.

Every damn delivery and the bank and site just doesn't care.

I've yet to even try ordering anything off temu. I'd imagine it'd be the cheapest junk and you'd probably get better quality from a dollar store.
Delivery drivers now are considered "independent contractors". And where I'm at. Immigration is basically an invasion. Plus the government subsidizes their wages. Cheaper for the company but they probably pay like shit anyways.
So it definitely leads me to believe they'll take out their frustrations passive aggressively and not give two shits bout customers because in the end either Amazon or a vendor will just replace or refund.
I actually called the dragonfly customer service number and the dumb bitch said if need to call the vendor (amazon). I had... 3 times. The world is literally going to shit and nobody wants to bring up what the actual problem is due to being blacklisted in this dumb farce of cancel culture.

There are plenty of people who make great art with 4080s already. Use different models. Find what runs well on your hardware and work with it. Those who put in the work make way better artwork than I ever have, and they often have very modest hardware.

Aye in terms of image generation I think its all about spending time to understand how the checkpoint, LORA etc system works in addition to the various parameters you can tweak, if you want to use EUler A etc, but regarding my GPU starved comment is was related to a mixed audio, video model that was supposed to work on 16GB but in the comments it said that anything less than 70 would take forever and that you were a GPU peasant, basically
