I can't seem to access the site it was working until yesterday all I get is DNS not found weird idk anyone knows anything

yes, it has been down for at least 30 hours, I still don't understand why, and I didn't find an explanation a while ago, some speculate that they are moving, others that there was a failure, but none is confirmed

Read at ATF that their domain got suspended and the staff is working to solve the issue.

I noticed this yesterday. I just assumed they were doing maintenance.

Does anyone know the server's IP address of Roriwalrus?

You can get around the DNS issue (for now) by adding the following line to your hosts file:
Code:
104.21.77.239 roriwalrus.com www.roriwalrus.com

File paths are as follows:
  • Windows: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
  • Linux: /etc/hosts
  • Mac: /private/etc/hosts
In all cases, it's a plain text file with no file extension, but you might need to open it with elevated rights (Administrator/root).

They couldn't handle the load from ATF, although this might be bigger than server issues.

I was on yesterday and noticed it had a different address....should have wrote it down. First the link said the standard

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at . www.************

But there was another link beside it, and when i clicked on it, it took me to the site. Now it only has the 1 link

The site is working if you do the host file 'hack' - but there is very limited activity on the site currently. ~40 members online as of writing this message.

Dont know how to do the hack....computer illiterate

the host file hack doesnt work for me. maybe because of cgnat ?

Is there any way to do this on android

Thats horsecrap.
Heh... Don't shoot the messenger, merely what I've read...

I sure hope they solve whatever issue they are having. RW was supposed to be the new home for the ATF Sims 4 mods.

They should REALLY get an offsite thing that spits updates. That would certainly help.

I wasn't, it was at the stuff causing the issues.

Are there anyone more clued into the roriwalrus situation/team?

I saw this on roriwalrus, you can run a command instead to open Chrome with roriwalrus fixed

Press Win + R and paste this into the box that pops up
Code:
"C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --host-resolver-rules="MAP www.roriwalrus.com 188.114.96.3
and then press Enter. I don't know whether or not other browsers have a similar option

Yes rori had so much potential hope they didn't get taken down and it's just some technical stuff.
