It is a pure fantasy but def something broken in me. I wasn't even into loli when I started watching hentai a few years back but I think overtime I just kept exploring for more and more. A few years of porn addiction is going to have some impact but I don't think it's impacted any of my real life desires. It's the same things I wanted since before all this. Kinda feel you on the fact that these games keep roping you back in. I've wiped my accounts and games 4 times now and a few weeks later I'm back to colleting, it's a never ending cycle.

Personally I don't think anything is broken in me. I seen adult games as I see regular games, it's just fantasy. I never looked at the horrible things I did in games like GTA and thought I had some kind of issue, because I never wanted to do those things IRL.

For something to be "broken" there must be a "correct" way to be. An object must not function in the way it was designed to function. A TV is "broken" if it doesn't turn on. However, we're not created in labs. We are random results of nature. There is no "correct" when it comes to how we perceive. Liking stuff from the games+ section is no different then liking pistachio ice-cream. Not a popular flavor, but that doesn't make you "broken" for liking it.

I'm "broken" by societies standards, and I own it (at least in the confines of these four digital walls).

The way I see it, if no real person is harmed in the process of bringing me the pleasure/entertainment, and any real people involved have given (and are able to given) informed consent to be involved, then there's no problem. As all of the characters in the games & VNs here are fictional, there's no real person involved (aside from the authors, artists, and devs) so it's all good!

I've seen mention of the dump and wipe, and have to say me too, but more because I start worrying about legal & social consequences IF someone stumbles on my collection than any sort of personal shame and regret.

I think even the term fantasy is getting at the right idea, but maybe doesn't capture the whole picture. Fantasy, to me at least, sounds like something that I would actually pursue in my perfect version of reality- I fantasize about being on a beach with a daiquiri because I would love for that to be real.

With games, stepping into a role that's very different from my real life can be really enjoyable even if I WOULDNT enjoy the life of crime, or violence, or any of the other things that are fun to play, but not something I spend my time fantasizing about because I would pursue it even if it WAS possible.
