Do you enjoy games that have/require a walkthrough?

Basically the title. Do you enjoy playing games (both porn or otherwise) that require you to have a dedicated walkthrough to know what to do/where to go? On some level, I don't mind it as often the games that do have one, don't make a walkthrough necessary. It's just the completionist in me wanting to see/do everything. However, there are those games in porn and otherwise, that force you to have a walkthrough just to progress the story in any form.
Sometimes I find a game with a character that's particularly appealing (or others are unappealing but the game is too good to skip), so I really like a chance to not mess with my chances to see the whole path.

It's not like an unskippable minigame.

I love having a walkthrough as much as i may like a game I'm still playing a porn game and it needs to deliver!

Yes I like it, you run past the parts that parts not interesting for you

If the game requires a walk thru, it should be in the game, not on a separate website. Should also toggle in the game.

Yeah. If games didn't have illogical choices and consequences I would never used walkthrough.

I ALWAYS use the walkthrough. Games already take too much time so i just want to make sure I'm seeing all the content I want to see without doin multiple playthroughs.

It really depends. When I recognize a lot of effort went into the game, I try to play blind.

Yea, when times an issue I become afraid to miss content and I don't want to go back and fourth playing a scene or section again to see everything so I rather just use a walkthrough and enjoy myself without the hassle.

I usually use walkthroughs because there are so many paths in the game that I might miss without a guide.

Having a walkthrough doesn't really ruin the experience for me. I don't mind redoing a game if I mess up, as rare as that tends to be.

I don't like to replay NSFW games, so I avoid the ones that you have to pick between two characters or have a bunch of routes so i stick with walkthrough mods or Kinectnovels. For SFW games I Just use on a Second playthrough of the game as hard, confusing, or I am trying to collect everything.

I always get a walkthrough if I can, just so I don't miss options, especially VN games where arbitrary choices can lock you out of paths. Sandbox games I'm much less likely to use a walkthrough.

I use them as they are intended: only when I get stuck.

I prefer not to use it; I like to play blindly and only refer to a walkthrough when I get stuck at some point in the game.

I don't particularly enjoy games the REQUIRE a walkthrough, porn or not. If I can enjoy the game without one and still get the the ending I enjoy with any character then I count it a win, but if I want to get with a character and it means that I needed to jump through a hoop 20 choices back....no thank-you. I don't mind referring to one if I get stuck and can't advance a plot, but it shouldn't necessary to complete a game that the dev basically has to hold your hand through the game to complete it.

As others have said, no. Not in support of the required walk-through approach.

There are things I like 'choice-wise'.
Such as: avoiding certain content, or being able to see alternate sex scenes depending on preference. Such as a threesome encounter. Or pick between 2 girls to engage with.

But where it becomes a bad choice: is when those actions have story-consequences.
Forcing you to correctly do small things - just to acquire the story beats that you'd enjoy.
Nobody wants that.
Small branching sections are fine.
HUGE branchs that eliminate content: What's the point?
Going back and skipping a bunch of dialog for some future change of events because 1-2 dialog option you picked much earlier on - sucks.

It can be done right, and it can be good. If there is consequences to an action, just tell the player (if it isn't apparently obvious).

*Edit, for clarity and better readability

Agree with the desire for dialog options to be more clear. I hate it when there is not enough context around the choice for you to make a really meaningful decision . These obscure yes/no options which actualy change the character/LI/Plot bug the hell out of me - especially as you say, when the results of those seemingly innocent choices are not revealed until much later in the playthrough.
Luckily I haven't seen a VN do as bad a job as Dragon Age: The Veilguard - where some of the dialog choices actually result in you saying pretty much the opposite of what you chose (and sometimes just garbage that has nothing to do with the options given). I suspect they may exist though.

Sure, if the game is more complex and has a system built in that makes the grind too tough or the decisions don't come easy for a great outcome, why not? More is better

Built in walkthrough is great. I don't like switching back and forth to read an external walkthrough.

I have nothing against an external walkthrough. Some games have enough thought put into them that in order for it to feel "realistic" in a sense, there has to be some blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments. Walkthroughs save you the time of having to save scum.
