Do you enjoy games that have/require a walkthrough?

Walkthrough save us from multiple saves and reloads, so yes, it's more enjoyable

Basically the title. Do you enjoy playing games (both porn or otherwise) that require you to have a dedicated walkthrough to know what to do/where to go? On some level, I don't mind it as often the games that do have one, don't make a walkthrough necessary. It's just the completionist in me wanting to see/do everything. However, there are those games in porn and otherwise, that force you to have a walkthrough just to progress the story in any form.
I am in the same mind set as you, don't mind having for when I am stuck but hate having to use constantly.

I find it annoying but if the game looks good I'll still play it

If game needs walkthrough it's one of two things, game have no logic in what happen or game have a lot of content.
Totally agree

A separate walk through is enough for me to not play a game, but a mod that can turned on/off that has paths is great. Either way though, it's a failure of the storyteller if a walkthrough is required and not just there to find other branches.

I enjoy playing with a walkthrough not necessarily because I need something to hold my hand but to show things like relationship points on conversations which only really get provided with a walkthrough. Has to be a mod though because I aint reading an additional PDF

Too difficult game = less motivation to stay playing

An in-game walk through is a mandatory requirement for me. I've played games where I have no idea what the fuck I'm supposed to do and a walk through makes it so much easier. I'm here to fuck girls, not try and solve riddles.

yes for sure i like play the game fast not slow

Unfortunately I find that the best way to go for most H-games is to just have a linear plotline with decisions only impacting player preference and not the real story... so, yeah, if there's a walkthrough, I just use it.

Now, the ones that need a walkthrough and don't have one? With a bunch of mini-choices that are just there for instant bad-ends? Terrible, horrible, why would you do that?

The enjoyment of games that have or require a walkthrough can vary significantly among players, depending on individual preferences and gaming styles.

pros and cons on both sides i think.

pro: no need to be having multiple saves or going back and forth in choices to see which one pans out for the better
cons: lose the choice of surprise

If you require a walkthrough to play and isn't supported by common sense thinking, then it's an inside joke kind of game. So no I don't enjoy games that requires walkthrough. But a little walkthrough for a game that can be played without it doesn't hurt~

If I need a walkthrough, then I just look for scene gallery cheat to get anything I missed. Long Story Short is example of this.

games that have WT are enjoyable to me, not so much for those that really requires them though.

I absolutely love walkthroughs especially if it says why some choices are better or offer different content.

I'll almost always have URM for all vn games. I want to know what my choice is resulting in.
I prefer this to a set walkthrough, it still gives me the choice of picking the non-best answer

I’m playing story and porn games for content. I don’t want to miss any content due to "bad" choices. (Far too often it’s not even really bad choices, but just not what the developer wanted.) On the other hand, I don’t want to be bored by generic repetitive story beats and forgettable dialogue.

Therefore, I’ll use walkthroughs and cheats to see as much as the VN has to offer, then skip any parts that bore me. Seems like the sanest use of my time.
If it’s an actually good and engaging game, I’ll play through everything manually, though, and maybe even replay it to check out various choices.

If a game doesn't have a walkthrough, it better have very good decision logs to look through. If it doesn't have a walkthrough or logs, it had better be good enough for me to bother making my own.

If a game has a walkthrough available, either in game or as a pdf/webpage, I always choose to use it. If I have a pdf I'll even make notes on it as I'm progressing through.

I am not a big fan of games that branch out into wildly different routes, but at the same time my experience is that many such games are good enough that they are still worth playing through. I don't like knowing that I might be missing out on something better in an adult game, and the idea of having to replay the game in full in order to discover all paths is not very appealing, so I happily pick the walkthrough instead every chance I get.

Yeah, sometimes it's so annoying to load save every time I do something wrong
