I have the 1.0 version of the game. The developer literally went through the game to remove all the sexy bits and called it 1.3. Theres not really any new content outside the bedtime scene, which has no nudity or sexual themes. I dont know why they even bothered.

Looks like this one is dying a slow and agonizing death...
Anyway, before I noticed that this game had a much brighter past, I did play a bit of the current version, and here's some notes I took:

The whole family's last name, except for MC, is still listed as Doe in their profiles. Though it seems that was not the case in the 0.1. Trying to move away from incest is one thing, but having the wife and kids have a completely different last name makes comparatively little sense. Especially since the game otherwise still calls them the MC's proper family.

There's lots of missing commas, especially vocative ones.
Words like 'Mom' and 'Dad' should be capitalized when used in place of a name. Same for nicknames like 'Sweetie'.

And here are a few typos I noticed. Again, I haven't played terribly much of it, so this is certainly not a complete list.
noone -> no one (x2)
eachother -> each other
when Sophia were near -> was near
waken up -> woken up
restaurang -> restaurant
furher -> further

Anyway, I hope this game will change its course back. But even if not, I still wish the dev good luck.
 
How to change text size coz it's ridiculously small. I try to decompile gui, change it and move to diff folders, but not work at all. Mods not work too. Any ideas or its locked somehow? Looks like all UI is unrepairable mess...

That's just an update to the code that didn't get implemented. See my post for why this happens. It has nothing to do with "The father can't have the same last name as the family" to avoid incest.

Well, I didn't know whether it was an accident or on purpose, but I was leaning toward it being on purpose since it worked fine in the previous version... Though in that case, pointing it out would have had questionable use...
Anyway, I didn't catch on to the ability to change names and ages on the character screens, so thanks for that... Since that's something that, as far as I can tell, we couldn't do in the 0.1, that gives me hope.
 
what exactly are the canon ages
I set the ages of Ella, Emily, and Isabelle to 14, 15, and 16 and Sophia to 36. I then set other girls' / women's ages based on how they appear when compared to the family. I think I adjusted about half of the ages listed. 🤷‍♂️ But I don't know if there have been actual canon ages given. (They're all over 18, obviously. Duh! ;))

What you're looking for is in game/scripts/declarations/declare_styles.rpy
You can also put the attached file in the game folder and set the size to what you want. Too lazy to make a proper mod for it 😅

Yeah, honestly it would be far better if developers would enter their dialogue text — whether actual dialogue, or narration, or thoughts — in more single or doubled lines than in big text blocks. I get wanting to reduce player clicking / key pressing, but it shouldn't be too bad if you limit text to something like 150 or less. Font character width will make this vary, ofc. (It's also great if they avoid large blocks of dissertation generally as some have, but that's another matter entirely.)
 
I'd really like to see the naming fixed. Doesn't matter what you name the characters at the beginning, the top of the chat window still shows their default names.
 
the game was off to such a good start with 0.1 and with version 0.1.3, it changed everything, well we were removed, there's nothing of interest anymore, it's as if the game was stuck in the carpet, I'm so disappointed at the wasted potential.

I haven't looked at that myself, but that is weird that it wouldn't work. Age changes work, so other than surnames (already discussed before, ofc), I'd think the code for name changes would be nearly identical to the other and work just fine. Odd.
 
Worked fine for me. I just downloaded to test and named MC the ugly and the name being used when talking and thinking is ugly.
Did you also try the naming of characters in that screen? That might be what they're referring to; not sure. I didn't change any names there myself before.

Not until just now. I named one wife one stuckup one bitch and one tramp. I did notice that I tried changing that douche Mason's name to Spaceman and even changing it in the script file wasn't doing anything till I changed mason.c to spaceman.c in the script file.

This also the reason why the girls names don't change as well as at the front of each line they speak there is sophia.c - isabelle.c - emily.c - ella.c instead of [sophia] or whatever it suppose to be there as in the text whenever [sophia] appears her name is wife and when you go to the girls doors their names are the ones you picked. I tried to do the same that I did for spaceman but for some reason it causes a sayer crash so not sure what I did different for Mason. Maybe I have to change their names in the script file as well for their defined names. Yeah it has to do with also changing the names in the declare actors file and then changing the names in front of the .c but might cause problems with characters that have stats and other things. The universal renpy mod shows their names as the ones that you picked so I think it might because of sophia.c - isabelle.c - emily.c - ella.c being used for when they talk.

I see. Yeah, looks like Abacus has some work to do if he wants the renaming to work. At least age changes worked for me. For about half of them, as soon as they were introduced I changed the age and saw that later it persisted.
