AI art is not bad as such, but even when it is well done I feel that it lacks soul, not to mention that it also lacks that unique touch that many artists give, those details that you see and know that it is from a certain artist.

For all the hype around the AI I got that impression. Of course you need to do all the preparation work but then the AI is supposed to do a lot of things for you much easier and faster. But honestly, I do not know all the details of this process.
I'm more like a word-man, not a graphics-man. I believe that the AI can make good images or animations, but I'm very skeptical that it could do some decent writing. Even very few human writers can do, actually.

Oh god no. AI is atrocious at writing. Most 5 year olds can write better than ChatGP.

Although I don't think it can write something incredible, AI can certainly create the framework or give you the necessary idea. In my opinion, AI should always be the assistant of the creator, not the creator himself, one more tool in the arsenal of creativity. .

Besides the dangerously sharp nose, your profile pic is an example of AI done right. Extremely realistic? No. But it works perfectly fine. Just don't put huge tits and a Navy SEAL body on her and mess her up.

Most of the time. It's poorly done, poorly implemented, and when non artist uses it they tend to overlook flaws in results. Taffy Tales dev used it to replicate his own style to varying results.

I enjoy making ai-generated images, although I hesitate to call it art. As a fun past time, hobby, or lark I'm 100% fine with it. As a profit making venture I see several moral and ethical issues with it.
