I avoid minigames in games.

Minigames are mostly a waste of time ...
somethimes though, they are beautiful ...
they need to be good and entertaining ...

I remember playing Gwent for hours in Witcher 3

I tend to skip them if possible.. unless you need to grind some cash in order to buy items

I stand by a rule of three for this, if you're expected to play more than three times, it's too grindy, unless it's gambling as an option for money with other options, love gambling

I don't mind them, I always play them at least once since the dev took time to make it and if it's good/not tedious I might replay it, else I skip/cheat them

Depends on the difficulty I don't want to spend forever trying to beat something just to have to do it again in a few minutes usually just stop playing at that point if i can't skip it after so long

It seriously boils down to the mini game itself. If it's a fun mini game, then that's great and it can really add to the game.

I usually play them just as a personal challenge, but appreciate it when the dev makes them skippable.

Some minigames are actually enjoyable. Most are not. You quickly realise when one has just been chucked in to make it feels like there is more content than there really is.

I try to avoid them if it's in a VN/Story game, but if its a sandbox game then its perfectly fine

Waste of time usually, and yet I'll still do them myself even if there's a skip option because of my irrational fear that I may miss content if I don't.
