Would you rather the creator finish creating the game that caught your eye?

For me, its just dependent on if the story has become stale form trying to stretch things out way too much when it should really just hit its finale

I only play completed or abandoned games, which puts me in scenarios where I would see a game that looks really good but I gotta pass up on it cuz its not completed/abandoned. so yeah i'd rather devs just finish their games.

In many games that really caught my attention and I say they're not finished, I usually wait for them to finish them even if it takes a long time because I don't like to be left halfway, and also not remembering where you left off in the game makes me feel like you get lost in the story.

What do you think?
really it depends on the game i think. some games i'll wait for it to be complete and some games i'll just play whenever something new comes out

I have quite a few games in my folder that had a REALLY good start and pulled me in, only to get cucked later finding out they're abandoned. Pisses me off certainly that I can't finish them, but they still usually provide some entertainment anyway.

It depends, for example, I love Such a Sharp Pain so much that I wish it would never end.

I prefer and mostly play completed games. I don't mind abandoned too much as long as I'm not left cold with any LIs I'm interested in. Definitely prefer dev to complete game though

Honestly, I would still play the game even if it's not finished. So many games nowadays get stuck in development or are released in early access and never truly reach a 'final version,' but that doesn't mean they're not worth experiencing. If this game already caught my attention, it means there's something special about it—something that deserves to be played, finished or not.

As long as there's enough content idc if it's an unfinished game

its true it relly does sucks when they do that but i allso aggree that if it allready has good content and a long story in it i dont mind playing again what pisses me off is when you see they have a lot of supporters and then just disapere that dosent seem profetionel too me at all but when they let you know in advanges and have a good reason well you cant predict what will happens in your life i guees. but yes it sucks and for what i do evrytime there is a new update and i cant remmeber the hole story i start it over from start and until i get to the good content i always be like

yes, dual family by gumdrop games was the first one i played a few years ago and it still not done and i don't think ever will be unless someone else does it. And i get when devs have a good story they may have ideas about side stories/games but a lot of them abandon the first to work on the 2nd or 3rd. Sucks as a player when you get really into a story and then it is in limbo or abandoned.

Agree. But the problem is a lot of the games which is good will most likely be abandoned halfway or never complete it's development for decade (not exaggerating). Example Summertime Saga they're doing rework now instead of continuing the story( I think this game has been in development for more than 5 years correct me if i'm wrong). So for games like these I recommend you might as well play it now

I always start a game over if it's still in development. Corrupted saves are too annoying to deal with, so if I remember the story, I might hold ctrl til I catch up... unless it's a game they keep rebuilding from front to back. Then Ctrl skipping isn't an option.

I get tired of games that just stop, I am one who needs to feel complete

Good luck with that as I rarely see any new game get finished nowadays. When I do it's like X-Mas all over again.

Someone on F-96 claimed over half the games on the site were finished but most of those are the older games.

If the game is really good i will play every update, otherwise i will wait a year before playing again

I wish more creators would finish their games. It feels like the majority of adult games are in constant development. It's nice to always have new content but when they go back and redo stuff and then I have to play through it all again it's just annoying.
