Why do people dislike F95?

That’s not the mod’s fault - it’s the way you express yourself.
You basically told him to commit suicide.

If, in your opinion, that kind of language is part of everyday speech and a reasonable way to interact with others, then you’re the one who, in my opinion, has no place on the internet.
If you talk to people the same way here on this site or anywhere else, the same thing will happen, so it’s definitely not the fault of the moderators at F95 but rather your upbringing or your education.

Not even a caveman - or an “subhuman,” as you also call them - would have spoken so disparagingly about his fellow human beings, unless he himself suffered from a mental illness and was therefore unable to tell the difference between an insult and a polite form of address.

BTW:
And that has nothing to do with whether the mod is a proponent or opponent of NTR or not - in case my answer still wasn't clear enough to you.
Holy fuck, I don't think I have read something more pathetic this entire week. The internet is not supposed to be a safe place where you don't get offended. Anyone who likes NTR is a subhuman, period. OHHH but hol'up, I need to treat that creature with respect because we are 'fellow humans and you aren't allowed to be mean on the internet', ok redditor. People like you who think those who offend others shouldn't be allowed on the internet is the precise reason so many websites are dogshit. Quit being such a ridiculous wimp.

That guy did something much worse than you. Atlas - Game Manager for LC, F95, Steam, GOG

He wrote the letters "LC" together, just because he wanted to list the sites supported by his Atlas tool.

He didn't include a link or anything else with "LC."

He simply used the letters "LC," and for that, he almost got an instant permanent ban.

Remember this: follow the moderators' rules!

Don't criticize them! Don't fight them! View them as gods who make the rules however they please.
Pff... scum like that should never have been given the position of moderators. Must be the highest achievement of their lives... So trigger happy to show off their power on the website... Insanely pathetic.

lets not forget that the new fad on f95zone of telling people that they should kill themselves if they don't agree with you.
whats done about it ?
post is removed, that's it

Oh boy. There's so much. As a person who got banned TONS of time there on 95... let's see.
PLEASE NOTE = I'm not saying I didn't deserve it. Just saying I'm a pro at being kicked out of the bar, so to speak. Assume a new account with each example.

1-As per Petermax77, the mods are very protective of the devs.
-Criticize a dev? The dev call me out. I push back at the dev? Banned.
-Dev is pissed off about leaks to 95. I say "You DO realize that this is a PIRATE site whose SOLE PURPOSE is to STEAL FROM YOU, right?". Banned.

2-Mod hatred of negativity.
-Tell a detailed exactly list of the flaws in a game review. Mods deleted the review. Complain the mods? Banned.
-NO comparing a game to another in reviews. Point out that PROFESSIONAL MOVIE REVIEWERS say things like "Dollar Store John Wick." and that the rule is stupid. Banned.

3-Mod God complex.
-Some mods have literally said (to be fair, after I've quite riled them up) that "WE are the Gods here. No appeal. It's just us." I say "Then call me Satan." Banned.
-Point out that they have promised a tag revamp for YEARS and have a FRACTION of the problems that LC has. Admit to no revamp or get off your ass. Banned.

4-(plenty more where that came from)
-And the result. Come on. You know what I'm gonna write. BANNED.

Self inflicted? Abso-fucking lutely. But let's say the laws change and even LC can't have Games+, Prestige 1+, etc... I'll still pick LC over 95.
That is...
...assuming I'm not...

BANNED!
Genuine question. Have you tried such antics her on LC? lol

For me, it's all the childish conflict that arises in many discussions. I like to refer to certain people as NPCs because it's literally the response you'd expect from an NPC or background character: typical insult-filled nonsense, destructive criticism of the content posted, and arguments with middle-school insults on a site where everyone is supposed to be an adult, although it's obvious many aren't. Some can't even be considered adults mentally, and this is coming from someone who considers themselves immature and often childish in their attitude.

I'm not saying everyone is like that. Like everywhere, even here, there are very good people who always comment on interesting and funny things, but the idiots make more noise. The difference is that there's a greater influx of idiots.
Side effect of a big population

Holy fuck, I don't think I have read something more pathetic this entire week.

I'm sure that's true, because if you'd reread your own posts before clicking the “Post Reply” button, you would have already read something like that. 👇

This dipshit dev never made anything good in his entire existence.
The internet is not supposed to be a safe place where you don't get offended. Anyone who likes NTR is a subhuman, period.

If that were the case, none of the sites where you share your absurd and offensive thoughts, opinions, and statements with the public without any filtering would have rules like these:

We used to have similar rules, but unfortunately they were - as your example shows - removed prematurely.

@Jack, could you please reinstate them so that people don’t get the impression that we’re in a lawless space where any nutcase can spout their nonsense without fear of consequences?

It's not that the websites are crap; it's the people who think they can do whatever they want, turning the websites into places where no one wants to hang out - and that's why there are rules like these to keep weirdos like you in check.

And the fact that you're not the brightest candle on the cake - and that it's therefore hardly to be expected that you'd understand this - is proven by the picture you posted alone. 👇

Any normal person would have realized that there are definitely mods from F95 and other sites on this page, even if they aren't clearly identifiable as such.

If you’d thought that through, you would have blacked out not only your username but also the name of the mod you’re viciously insulting here.
Because news like this spreads pretty quickly across different sites, and you can now be sure that you’re not just a big target here and on F95.

To pull something like this off - especially after such a short time here and with the few posts you’ve made so far - is quite a feat, though I wouldn’t be proud of it if I were you.
Because, as I've already said, you don't need a brain for this – quite the opposite:

You can really only achieve something like that if you have the IQ of an amoeba or similar.

Well, to be fair, when it comes to respect, I don't find posts like that from moderators to be particularly respectful.

Hey @Peter, I totally agree with you about the rules, but shouldn't the moderators set an example and stick to their own rules?

And those were just the most harmless posts; I don't want to engage in mod-bashing here, but to be fair, @Jaike started a thread on F95, and even created a dedicated section for complaining about moderators called "Mod Madness"... I mean, just imagine: there’s an entire list of threads about mods on F95...

And you're absolutely right, there are definitely moderators from F95 here.

But @Peter is right, i recommend create a new account just to be safe...

Here’s what you need to keep in mind: change your ip and delete your persistent storage as well when you create a new account, because the mods can see your alts.

if you need help with that read here

No mod or staff member is untouchable or enjoys immunity on the site where they work; you can report them at any time or submit a support ticket if you feel you’ve been treated unfairly.
If this happens frequently and always involves the same mod, sooner or later the team will have to consider whether this team member is still acceptable for the site or whether it would be better to part ways with them.

Believe me, I know what I’m talking about.

Oh, I hear statements like that about moderators quite often, lots of people call them power-trippers. but @Peter has right, please be careful what you say here....

Me too; I was friends with a staff member who was on a power trip, and I know that Sam personally protects his power-tripping mods. So, feel free to report them, but absolutely nothing will happen, the admins stick by their power-tripping mods.

Genuine question. Have you tried such antics her on LC? lol
Yes, and the result has been different.

1-Criticized some games (meh on others, loved others). Mods never DM-ed me though a few Devs did really post strongly. Mods didn't interfere. No need for me to react.
2-On the games I was comparing them to other games in reviews, again, zero Mod involvement. Again, no need for me to react.
3-I've supported, been neutral and been strongly against some dev actions with wording to match. They responded but no action against me. Still, no need for me to react.
4-Never having been banned here, this is my first, middle, and last account in LC... Therefore, no need to react.

I hope that answers your question.

I don't hate it persay but i find it very whiny sometimes. It's a big issue with a lot of places on the internet in general but people can't live and let live sometimes. Voicing opinions is cool but i got used to seeing similar or the same names show up to content tagged with things they knowingly don't like.

You know what the saying “Don’t feed the Trolls!” means, right?

I hope you starve to death quickly.

I don't really dislike F95, but the ads and layout can get annoying. Still, it has a huge catalog and active dev threads, so I get why people stick around.

The reason for many of us original members here runs deep. It all has to do with F95's policy on same game genre's, conflicts with Dev's and Admins. Which all lead to this site being created.

lol I noticed that sometimes feeding them with genuine love and empathy can make their system crash

How insecure some people can be so they absolutely have to insult people with different kinks - I suspect very sad stories behind all this sometimes

Anyway, yes - good call
