Nah, nobody should switch over here; this place is just a good alternative to ULMF for translators.

You’re looking at it only from the perspective of users who just want to download and enjoy the content.

But from a translator's point of view, these sites are excellent alternatives, you have to keep in mind that you can get permanently banned for any game you translate on F95.

Likewise, you can't release translated games on ULMF, because doing so violates their rules and results in a permanent ban.

The same applies to modders, game developers, and anyone else creating content that F95 might delete or block at any moment.

As for the people who make up 70% of the community, those just looking for a place to get everything quickly and for free.

Oh, it's not about this page containing banned content at all. I have plenty of examples and know enough to know that it's really not about what the page contains.I could share links like this one there and nobody would care:

LC was founded with the sole purpose of being a competitor to F95zone, with the full intention of having R7 breaking content. The “restricted” area at the time contained only content that had been banned on F95 and it was NOT hidden back then. So it's whole existence is to go against Rule7 and thus naming LC on F95 was against their rule of mentioning sites with banned content.
Yes, there are other sites with banned stuff, even such sites a nhentai, but they weren't made as a library of banned F95 stuff.
AzC never sold itself as a smols site like LC did.

Also for the longest time LC did allow realistic AI images of smol, which even put them on the filter of ATF, THE number one smols site.
And yes, that's the main reason why so many sites want nothing to do with LC.

And quite simply, the more users a site has, the better.

F95zone once had tons of smols stuff, but at some point they got so big they had to choose: Being at risk of attack of hacktivists and white knights (like LC, ATF or Roriwalrus was), or get rid of this pretty niche thing many don't care about. They choose to get rid of the one thing that endangers the site.
Sure, you can say cowards and stuff, but LC did the exact same thing.
They removed "dangerous" smols games, like the daycare one and not that long ago forbid realistic AI images.

Basically, this site, and Azrael's Corner, for that matter, aren't meant to replace f95;

As I wrote before, LC WAS created to replace F95, but you are right with AzC, they don't want to replace F95.

LC as a whole hates F95zone way more than the other way around.

I don't hate f95, and I mean that sincerely; the moderators and admins there do give people chances and unban them. They aren't that bad, except when it comes to this site; then they react in a super toxic way. But what really sucks about f95, and we have to say this, is their policy regarding Rule 7. You can't just allow a game under Rule 7 and then, five years later, decide: "Nah, the stuff we allowed under Rule 7 up until now? We're banning it tomorrow." Take *Sorcery Kingdom* (hentify.net) as an example: the developer had received permission from the f95 staff stating that his game did *not* violate Rule 7. He even mentioned this in his thread, but *now* it’s been removed because one or more staff members decided that, as of today, the game *does* violate the rule. Honestly, that is total garbage. AceCyclone was permanently banned over this nonsense, right before the release of a translation that about 10 million people were waiting for. They banned him just before the launch because he shared a translation for a game that had had a translation thread for five years. Honestly, it's just endless crap. I actually discovered this site precisely because so many people were angry and hated f95 for that. It got shared around because the mods had really screwed up big time. But it doesn't have to be that way. They just need to fix Rule 7. I mean, things are handled better here. Why can't f95 get their act together? Tell me that.

The way I initially found this site was when someone created a sentence that contained the words Lewd and Corner with those words emphasized. Through contextual clues I was able to find out it was another site for AVNs.

The couple of times I pointed people in the direction of this site and specific games not on F95, I chose to do the same. It's not the DaVinci code or anything, so I believe some people found their way here eventually. I later chose not to bother again as it was time consuming trying to come up with clever ways of blessing people with the knowledge and I didn't think it was worth the possible banning.

Okay, first of all, I am no staff of F95zone, so there is only that much I can do and tell, but I am a member of F95 for many years, way before "it was cool". So take that for what it's worth.
I can't say anything about specific games or users, because nobody has the whole picture but them and sadly too often they don't tell the whole truth.

For F95zone Rule7 serves a purpose, that is to prevent games with too young looking girls (prepubescent and lower), since it's simply not worth the hassle with white knights and shit like that. LC has a similar stance, but that range is a tat lower, namely toddler stuff. That's why that daycare game isn't allowed.
F95zone has many staff members and obviously everybody has a different view on things. For some that girl is too much, but for others the girl is still okay, that's just human nature. That's why rulings on a report basis can vary from moderator to moderator.
Overall you could say one third is anti-loli, one third is pro-loli and one third doesn't care. Lately an Uploader who is very openly pro-loli became a trial moderator over there.

Yeah, Rule7 would need to be more specific, but the more detailed you go the less error is allowed and the more you get shit on and rule-sticklers start nitpicking (on both sides), so it makes sense to keep this at least somewhat vague, even if it sucks. There are as much users who complain that the rules are too strict as users who want it even stricter, so that goes both sites too.
But Rule7 decisions are made by the entire staff, that's why it always takes so long to get games approved. And yes, if unsure or in doubt, the decision will be made to preserve the site.

F95 is fucking huge and well known, they get attacked on a daily basis. Last year their sysadmin showed some data about that and they got millions of attacks PER DAY.
The big site ATF got shut down twice in in a span of a year because of very hefty attacks, even such a small site as Roriwalrus got attacked and had to close for weeks. So yes, the threat is real and it only gets worse with all the stricter laws that pop up everywhere. Also don't forget that even LC got in trouble several times and compared to F95zone or ATF it is tiny.

Many games got removed, because they implemented rule7 breaking stuff AFTER it got approved, like Daily Lives of My Countryside, which added an even younger girl in one of the latest patches. Mods wouldn't have known if users hadn't reported that. There are many games that flew under the Rule7 radar, because nobody reported it.
So this isn't that sudden anymore.

Also, about 3 years ago they said they want to slowly phase out loli stuff and shift the age a bit up, so only teen is allowed. That's why all those latest removals are nothing new, it just wasn't made a huge deal of, pretty sure the hidden devs-only forum had threads about that.
Why are they doing that, I don't know, but as mentioned before the whole world gets more and more strict about that stuff, F95zone is not the only one who takes those steps.
One can hate or love it, but that's how it simply is. And I say it again, LC did the same thing, removed games that are too dangerous and forbid realistic AI image, which where a major selling point for LC in the past. So much that many users left LC just because of those changes.


And again, this is supposed to be an explanation, it's just my way of writing things.
