Which game engine do you prefer?

RenPy for versatility, but most games kinda blend into each other at this point.
Unreal/Unity for 3D games, if the devs know how to use those engines properly. My PC isn't even that bad but some Unity games run like utter ass on my machine.
 
Renpy is the one. Much easier to use and if you're into it, you can dive into the code. Not planning on making my own game but was curious on how some functions work and learned a bit just from browsing the coding.
 
RPGM requires game design skills to prevent it from turning into a slog. All you need for a decent renpy game is story and renders
 
good ole "VN" for me. Sandbox isn't bad either if they are done correctly but more often than not they are grindy for no freaking reason...
 
Doesn't matter, you can make good and bad games in any engine.
