RenPy has the best UX, all renpy game have the same basic layout and the files are always at the same place so it's easier to mod them.

RenPy has the added advantage of being easy to reverse engineer to help with choices when there is no walkthrough and the cheat stats for those grindy games.
Html SugarCube is the same. Easy to circumvent some grind.

honestly its less about the engine and more about what the devs do with it iv seen great RPG made from Renpy and Iv seen an awesome VN made from RPGM so ..
More about the devs being good.
