Personally i found it strange how many users mentioned headphones, so maybe this poll gives me some insight.

A bit part of the popularity of headphones is that they're much much cheaper than speakers when it comes to sound quality. You're going to have to spend well over a grand to get the equivalent sound quality of a $200 pair of headphones.

I use them for almost everything. For gaming and watching movies (the dialogue is hard for me to hear sometimes). I use over the ear headphones when i listen to music on my computer and earbuds when I go outside.

for lewd games i usually just play without sound, if i wear headphones then i can't hear when someone is sneaking up on me which unfortunately happens a lot.

"only outside" means "only in public". but in my house, at my PC (for music), thump-thump bay bee.
For porn? I have a family, don't need them hearing neighing, circus music, eldritch screaming and "Yes daddy!" reverberating off the walls at night.
Need to be accurate with that trauma, make it count. Like birthdays, Christmas, or the first time they bring home a date.
