I've always been to afraid to pay for porn games because I'm scared I'd get disappointed. If any of you have paid for an adult game, which was it, and was it worth it?

Nope. And it was the game that made me STOP paying for porn games. DMD. I subbed to them immediately, and was subbed for like 2 fucking years when they started turning the corner to the sharing shit. Cancelled that shit. Then there were 3 other devs around that time. One was milking like a motherfucker. Cancelled. One kept putting up polls about putting ntr content in his game because it was requested even though he had said he never would. Cancelled. The other abandoned his game with a bullshit excuse. Cancelled. Havent supported an adult game since those 3 let downs.

I feel bad for the not shitty devs that suffer because of this, but it is just too common for that shit to happen. I hate this "pay me while I work on it" system. I understand why it is needed because mostly non-funded single person devs are making these, but I still think it just holds the door wide open for abuse, which then hurts the non shit devs.

Oh... slight edit. I forgot about this. The devs of Sisterly Lust and Parental Love, I sent one time payments after their games were finished. I think I actually paid them both 3 times (prob $20-50 each, so between $60-150 total to each dev) after playing it and enjoying it. I had played each game before it was finished, then again when they finished. Thought they were good, so sent a donation. Then later replayed it, still thought it was good and donated again.

Muv-Luv is the only adult game I paid for, via kickstarter, and I'd already played the whole game multiple time by that point, it was more a support thing. So yeah, worth it.

Hm... Does RimWorld count as an adult game now? Than it will be the first one for me.

Hrmmm. One of the first games I started to dislike because devs felt the need to add "drama" or risk into it. I dont remember because its been like 5 years, but there was some point where you could lose her to another dude unless you made the right choices. That pissed me off. I remember I did some searching, and found nothing right away, but ended up finding some forums and discords related to adult games (prob f95 and the LGP discord) and eventually found a walkthrough or someone told me the right choice. I kinda blew it off after that but then later I played his other game which I think was double homework? The redhead twins? And the fucker did the same thing. The ugly nerdy dude was trying to get into your sisters pussies and that annoyed the fuck out of me. I think that was just a fake, but not sure. I feel like I later found out that he never really got them, but it still pissed me off. I wasnt exactly looking forward to his games after that. Shortly after that is when DMD started getting all cucky and I bailed on that.

And now that I think about it, DMD wasnt exactly my first "adult" game. But it was my first porn game. I played all of the Leisure Suit Larry games as a kid, and in my early 20s, I played one that came out (about 20 years ago?) with my wife at the time. I cant remember if it had sex though. I feel like it was nudity and titties jiggling.

If you want to count that, we have to count shit like sims also. Although with all the mods... its prob more of a porn game than most actual porn games.

I've personally only sub for two-three months to reputable devs from time to time. Mostly as a way to "give back" something for the hours of entertainment their product has offered me.

I never managed to finished Karyn's Prison. Not because it's not great, but it's because I never able to defeat the prisoners

Skyrim maybe? Not really an adult game by default but umm so old at this point it's got to be the first I tried installing mods for. I got Huniepop on release and that was def not worth it

Only 2 I have bought and I highly recommend both, Third Crisis (and it's sequel) corruption rpg, and HuniePop 2, very tame for my tastes but a fun game

A couple of Japanese VNs. Forgot their names. Bought them on sale, so they were dirt cheap (a couple of dollars each, iirc), but I was massively disappointed. They started off great, but the endless, pointless slice-of-life dialogue put me to sleep every time.

I stayed away from VNs after that, until I somehow stumbled upon Parental Love.

Some make it obvious they are not worth the support and I dump them. I will continue this way until I retire and don't have the necessary. just my two copper pieces worth.

I paid for Subverse because I like the studio's videos. It wasn't so great and I think they did update it later on, but kinda regret for it. Now I check things first before supporting.
