Graphic violence/Guro unless it's set in a fantasy setting, and even then I'd rather not have that anywhere near the sex scenes.

Also tend to avoid the more cruel type games, doesn't get me going.

Any game that has futa/trans with no way to opt out. Especially when they lecture you on why you should watch and like it...ie Burned. Plus I think there should be a "snuff" tag. I am no fan or killing during sex. Also most games are putting multiple unavailable interacial scenes in their games. I like options to avoid more scenes.
Definitely on futa. Some give the option to not have that character or for them to just be female. The trite BBC shit, especially in female protag games is annoying. There should also be an "asshole protag" tag for certain games.

For me it's obnoxious grinding. I dont mind repeatable events or actions per day mechanics, but if you have to idly click through the same screens 100 times just to get to the next scene, you're just wasting my time

Other than certain tags and grinding that some others have mentioned, it would probably have to be how some games tend to complete forget some of their own aspects or features. Like a character your aiming to interact with only for it to be a dead end with nothing as if they were forgotten about in the grand scheme of things.

I hate #futa #gay #unity x_X tag

Especially confusing grinds/quests where there is no actual indicator where people are or quest areas are and you have to run around the place to find any content. Extra points if stuff only triggers at specific hours and any movement takes time.

When it's boring.

Most games have terrible starts and I can tab through them and the action or character interactions will pick up.

Most of the bar talk in Chasing Sunsets I skipped and was completely unnecessary for understanding the rest of the story.

Bully is My Lover bored the shit out of me and then through away it's golden, stolen premise. Even when it gets good it's still boring--which the biggest defenders admit. It smacks me if people who have never read drama and have had a really shallow media diet suddenly finding out that human strife can be compelling.

I couldn't get into Grandma's house. The talk with not Grandma was boring and I started stabbing through and the stabbing through was boring. Then I wondered if I'm missing the thrust of the game. I made it to the next character interaction and sex scene and decided the game wasn't for me.

I also don't like ntr but I don't play those games so it's not a ruiner. Ruined goes to games that I'd like to play.

Time wasters like sandbox, minigames, "combat" are a big no-no. Time wasters are also excessive and unnecessary drag in dialogs, longer scenes than needed, too many clicks...
Additionally, I avoid tags like censored, HTML, RPGM or real porn.

Long texts, it's good to read a bit, but when it's more text than porn, it's boring.
I think it depends. If it's a long text but it is adequately distributed and it's all "necessary" to portray the idea/story, then I'm all for it.
What I don't like is walls of text that just feel like a teenager/college student is trying to up the word count.

That stupid, trite BBC shit in female protag games. It's as overdone as if you cooked a turkey or roast in the oven at 550° F for 48 hours.

Teasing. It's annoying and boring.

confusing story line with to many jump in between to many POV or time travel shenanigan
