    I don't know if it's on this website, but Degrees of Lewdity is another game that has a good amount of content, it has a download version and an online version I think. The online version works on the phone if you want to play and not download it.

    Dogs, mainly because you can train them to be of use to you in many ways, but also because you can socialize and take them outside wherever. Plus it's good on the exercise part, since both of you and the dog have to go outside.

    I like holiday events when the game has its own calendar, so it makes sense for it in the story. Not many games do this, very few to be honest, but not bad. The only other version I like is when it's separate from the main line or if they don't change the characters personalities too much.

    I doubt that the population will collapse, I feel it's more of a problem during a marriage if they get into it while in a relationship, but humans are always social animals and there's just an aspect to real life that can't be replicated through any form of media. Even talking to people online...

    Maybe "teaching feeling" would be more up your alley. It's not exactly too story driven but it definitely has emotion as one of the key aspects. An older game yes but still not a bad one.

    Very late, I'd say in later school years, which is good because I can't imagine myself ever getting into it at a young age. I feel if it's at an age too young then it can lead to an unhealthy dependency. Casual is not too bad but definitely not worth making it an addiction.

    If taking it with you is a must, get a laptop, but yes, phones do need more love. Emulators are good but nothing really beats a computer in regards to this. Laptops are a good alternative/in-between, some are gimmicky and can be tablets too. Choice is yours in the end.
