discussion What is you opinion on games that use models from "Honey Select" or "Koikatsu"?

I find HS/HS2 too cold and not attractive to my taste.
And koikatsu ... no way.
I pretty much prefer DAZ over these.

I just can't get into either. I've tried several titles but they kinda bother me for some reason I can't really explain. This is a shame because there are a lot of quality titles that use them.

Depends on the game for me, Pale Carnations, AHitR, and Eternum are HS but the models and animations are amazing.

1) HS
2) DAZ

I see nothing wrong in Koikatsu models. If the story is good. For example Lessons in Love

HS using only Vanilla engine is bland and people used to seeing this may say they dont like HS based games at all.
But with mods, its an entirely new dimension of possibilities. The vanilla engine is fairly easy but mods are hard or difficult to adapt.
An experienced person will be able to leverage the position, angles, and all those stuff which makes it eye catching.

Koikatsu is the same but I feel the models are too childish/toy looking and it is not my taste.

Daz is the 3D render champion, we all know the assets and availability. Almost all renpy games use Daz if its 3D.

I skip Koikatsu games. The art style looks ridiculous and I don't know how anyone could find it erotic. Honey Select when done well is top tier. Daz is, of course, the king out of the three.
