The closest I come to cooking... is a microwave meal. Does that count? If it does, some unrecognizable chicken parts, a foam they call potatoes, and green things that I truly hope are vegetables.

Today it was stewed macarons and pork steaks.

Today it was some chicken tights, potatoes and karrots. It was good but i always fail at the right seasoning
If it was good, you did something right ;)
BTW: That's a good idea for dinner tomorrow :)

Carbonara. Cooking it yourself makes it so much better than store bought jars with the congealed bacon cubes.

Home made pasta and red sauce.

A vegan burger with patties made from kidney beans.

I made pepper steaks with sauteed mushrooms yesterday, it was delicious!

Tea and sandwich for supper.

I have cooked food. It won't kill you and it has something green in it somewhere. That is the extent of my cooking capability.

In general, I cook stuff that's healthy, tasty, cheap, and - most importantly - EASY. As much as I love eating, I'm friggin' busy working, playing games, and jacking off to spend hours in the kitchen everyday to cook 3+ meals a day.

So, I follow a template of lean meat+2-3 major seasonings+carbs (usually rice or porridge)+veggies (tho not as often as I should). Then, I pick a style of cooking that's quick and low effort, which is usually sauteing the meat+seasoning in a frying pan.

Oh, I also try to make copycat or "cheats" recipes of dishes I love, but using as many shortcuts as possible. There's a YT channel that specializes in that actually (Marion's Kitchen). There's also a subset of Japanese cuisine I make a lot because they all follow the same basic seasonings: dashi broth (subbed w/ water + dashi powder), sake, soy sauce, and sugar. It includes katsudon (which also is perfect for using leftover katsu), oyakodon (chicken & egg rice), tempura (as dipping sauce), sukiyaki (as soup), and many more.

Japanese curry is usually very quick and simple to make. Plus you can make a big pot of it and have meals for a few days since you can spice it up with variations.
