What game, or games, do you have to mod to be able to enjoy playing them?

I've found that skyrim, cyberpunk and fallout along other open world games are almost mandatory to be modded. not gooner mods all the time, but def a preference

Any Paradox game while the base games are fine plenty of the mods introduce features and settings that make the overall gameplay less flat and boring after your second playthrough

Mods for paradox games can be amazing. seriously

Part of my soul is forever tied to Bethesda, and modding is a big part of that. (The other part is Elder Scrolls lore.)

But alas, modding's become a bit harder now that I'm on Linux. I'll figure it out one of these days...

All bethesda games because they all require some community patch to be functional and all require community content to actually fill out the world... except new vegas on the second reason

SFW: Bethesda games, Transport Fever
NSFW: Illusion's Games (HS2, Koikatsu), every game that has censorship

i would say Left 4 Dead and Minecraft, its so funny kill zombies telettubies and slenderman for smoker

Mostly Survival games, and only stack sizes, not more to carry or be stronger, stack sizes for sorting, when i need 30 chests to sort my things i logout xD

Bethesda Games, definitely
Spent days to create a perfect skyrim experience
only to find that in the end, testing whether the mods work or not in the game is what I really enjoy

Left 4 Dead 2 too and some multiplayer games, I guess

As many have said, literally every Bethesda game. My favorite part about it is when it runs great, then you start CTDing out of no where. Modding Bethesda game has genuinely made me a better modder in general, kinda funny.

Minecraft and most Bethesda games. Basically, anything that feels like an incomplete sandbox.

Sandbox games that have dlc's I find they often have mod folders or are easy to have the folder added Sims 4 is my favorite just because there are so many things that can be modded and you can incorporate some naughty fun or create your own drug empire.

Minecraft, Skyrim, Fo4 + NV, VTMB, All the Borderlands games
