What game engine do you prefer adult games to use?

I've never had a problem with Ren'py. RPGM on the other hand I really dislike

I think Ren'py is the most suitable engine at the moment. The RPG maker is outdated, and Unity feels much more difficult to learn than Ren'py.

I prefer Ren'py but I'm open to other stuff like RPGM and Unity when it's relevent for a game to be made with those engines.

renpy because it makes DIY mobile ports easy. visual novels on a rog ally are awkward so i prefer playing on my phone.

I think Renpy has to be the most user-friendly and easy to pick up. It might be limited for more advanced 3D sandbox stuff, but it's solid.

RPGM just has too much grind. There's only one game i liked with that engine and that was Demon Roots (fantastic game).

Unity and Unreal are brilliant for sandbox, but i can appreciate how difficult and resource hungry they can be.

Renpy is good for AVN.
RPGM for games with adult content.
Unity usually doesn't work well linux, bc devs usually don't bother to create linux version.

I like Renpy the most.
Unity the least because it's difficult to play on android

Ren'py
easier/quicker to mod /bug fix

from a Player POV
Still Ren'py just for its basic feature set. save anywhere, accessibility options such as changing font/font size, rollback ETC

honestly the few Unity games i have played just mimic ren'py UI/features anyways which just makes me go "why didn't you just use ren'py to begin with instead of wasting time coding unity to work/act like ren'py...

Ren'py and Unity. but if i had to pick one Ren'py

I've played many games using each engine.
It seems like the main ones are Ren'py, RPG maker, and Unity.
I actually really like Ren'py games the most but I'm curious what other people think.
I like Ren'py because of how standardized it is for all the games I play.

Renpy for the most part. There are some great ones for Unity (areas of gray from notvil? one) that are pretty decent too.
RPGM, ugh dont even start on that, I've yet to come across a game in this one that I've liked at all sofar..

RPGM and Renpy for me. RPGM has ironically been more prevalent among my favourite games than Renpy.

Despise Unreal and Unity is hit or miss.

My language is not English so I prefer Renpy because I often have to do my own translation and I can even translate Unity but I hate it(Translation of RPGM I think is cool, but I prefer to go after someone who has already done it. If I don't think so, I generally do mine either RPGM, RENPY or Unity)

Renpy all the way, too much devs try to reinvent the wheel with clunky VN homemade with unity or unreal and end with something worse than renpy.
I won't even talk about games that require you to play with mouse + keyboard or some gamepad. I mean, it's an adult game, let us have a free hand.

Renpy since things like rollback and text speed are a must at this point for me, Unity can also be good if it implements basic stuff like rollback, skip unread, and text speed.

Rollback is one of the most powerfull features, if a game engine implements it, is good

Renpy for the rollback. But unreal would be interesting since it's the most accessible engine for high-fidelity graphics.
