I really doubt that a AI driven game can compete with a human created story, mainly that unless there is a huge breakthrough in AI the game will only be an unoriginal and derivative script- darkmkfv

Why cant devs do best friends right.
I think that is more general the issue, not only on the games, but also in books or series, where the best friend is annoying in general or with a massive character flaw, maybe to show how the protagonist is better or cooler that the rest- darkmkfv

Is gameplay important to you?
If the gameplay feels grindy, I might cheat to skip ahead to the story, however, if the gameplay feels meaningful and ties into the story, I really enjoy it. But, creating a game with that delicate balance is incredibly difficult.- darkmkfv

What are your opinions on games made with real porn?
Not a fan of those games, they fell like some generic porn, sometimes because the developer can't find all the scenes with the "main character" and have to get some other actor, and for me that breaks all the immersion of the game and throws me off :/- darkmkfv

I think that Unreal add too much complexity for most developers, C++ is very hard to do well, and most of the developers that want to do something more advanced than RenPy I think they use Unity, that I thinks is a good balance between advanced engine and ease of use- darkmkfv
