I voted for graphics, but I'm always surprised by how much a good story can draw me in. I'll tolerate a lot if the story's good.

I think characters are the main reason. Even if you see the same model in several games, the personality, and the context may be unique.

It's graphics for me because this is what is always in front of me during gameplay. Good story and characters are of course a plus for immersion.

Decent adult game ought to have either good story or art. Great adult game has both.

I'd really have to say its the first three choices by far. Leaning towards graphics though.
A good story is very nice, but if the characters are just a pain to deal with then it really draws for the tastefulness.
However, if the lewd scenes made look nice enough, or if simply, the angles are spicy enough; it will keep me coming back again and again.
This is part of the reason why I love Third Crisis so much. the art is great, and the angles the sex scenes capture are lovely

In my opinion, the story and the quality of the images/animations

In most cases for me it's the characters, if the story is good but the characters are poorly written it's hard to enjoy it. A poor story with great characters can work just fine.
I grew up playing grand strategy, graphics are overrated

A good Story makes them Stick out But the graphics give them enough attention to even have the chance to stick out

Appearance, tags(generally less vanilla gets more attention), regular updates and an at leasr decent story.

Good story that can be said feels realistic

I am QoL voter - nothing kills the game as much as the need to alt-tab for walkthrough/stumbling into closed doors. Heck, i no longer play any RPGM games because of how unwieldy UI feels.

It has to stand out in graphics, gameplay, or story. Even excelling at 1 can excuse the other 2

For a game to reach the top it needs to be at least decently good in most if not all categories. But I think the most important aspect is that it needs to be unique in some way.

good story trumps graphics but what makes it stand out from the others is graphics because that's what you see when your deciding what to download
