What Do You Think About Slow Burns?

A slow burn is good if the content in between is not dull, but interesting.

Slow burns only seem good to me if the dev can consistently update because if not it usually never gets finished.

Good story writing and it helps you get into the story, and feel like the character in the game. I personally think it's for people who wants to get into a character's shoes and get into the story even more. The build up of the relationship between the characters is the best part of slow burn the down side is if you really want to go for only the sex scenes it's better to play other games that offers faster relationship progression.

The burn has to be engaging or else you'll never stick around to see what comes next.

If i'm playing a porn game I usually have a bit of time to myself so I don't mind the slow burn and actual prefer it; getting lost in a good story and finding out it also includes some lewd sex scenes is always very nice

Depends. Like I'm usually slow at catching new game releases so I don't mind playing an older game with a slow burn. But I couldn't imagine a slow burn that only has 2 updates out or so. Hmmm... But then again I did also follow through DmD releases. But overall I think I don't mind slow burns as long as I'm deeply engaged in the story already

I'm a sucker for good charachers and stories, that means a well plotted slow burn is almost a given for me.
There are exeptions, of course, a dev could start a story in media res and still deliver a good story while not holding back on the lewd content.
But, for my tastes, slow burns make a story more belivable/enjoyable.

Fully depends on the effort put into the story. One of my favorite's is LomL and lest favorite was Happy Summer

I like slow burns when some genuine story telling is going on. But depending on update speed there is a chance that there is not much going on for a long time.

I like stories and slow burns but sometimes slow becomes boring. It is not easy to get it right for sure.

What annoys me about some slow burns, is that they take a while to even get their characters naked in game, but show nudity in preview pictures for the game. Negating the slow burn of the game.

If a game has a good story then I won't mind if it's a slow burn but if it has bad writing it makes it so much worse cause all I'll be focused on is getting past the shitty story and to the sex scenes which I won't even be able to get to cause their 4 updates away

Depend on the game storytelling,if it's good then great but if not then meh

Doesn't matter how the story is, slow burn sucks. Not here for literature.

We know, you are here to repeat yourself at least once per page...so let me repeat myself too: Stop grinding the forum, get yourself some daz fucksim and waste your time with it.

Slow burns are nice if the slowness is due to the story and not because of useless grind

I love slow burners when they are done well, hate games where everyone just throws themselves at you immediately

If the game is completed, or at least has a good amount of content, that's fine, but if it's not, I don't want to play it.
