If the story is good and able to carry it's fine. The scenes also have to be good and reflect the romancing or corruption progress. It's a porn game in the first place.

yup if "the action" is slow the plot better pick the slack
Also if the updates take forever it will eventually make the game feel empty so slow burns are good but... they should be updated frequently

They are only good if the story is good. If the story is average at best and it drags on, not giving any growth or exploring the character's relationships then it's not even edging you. I like slow burns but i need to see that we are burning something.
