discussion What criteria do you use to choose your games to play?

my first step is to check game engine i avoid rpgm,custom/others,and html or text based.
next is the graphics IE: hs, hand drawn,ai rendered,
then the description ..does it interest me
then tags list
and lastly is it a .01 or demo version i have played to many games that never made it past the first few updates
i like to watch it and wait for a few updates before i vest myself into a game

For me I start with the tags then read the description.
Next I look at the pictures, then finally read some comments. If everything checks then away we go

usually i am looking through tags then i check the synopsis and check what kind of game it is. if the story synopsis doesn't interest me then i check screen shots.

Tags: Loli and rape, but it hasn't to be a loli with rape.

1. Previews/Screenshots: It has to somewhat appeal to me in style or graphics or "art direction"
2. Tags: Are there any I like or prefere? Any I dislike?
3. Game style: Is it a RPG, VN or a simple quick-fap-game
4. Story: Often rather unimportant, because lets face it, none of the stories are particularly good or haven't been done before.

What I don't look at:
Ratings or Reviews, because they tell nothing but personal opinons that most likley not apply to me and are often biased toward the hate tags.

Review score (it helps to dive further in to it)
Tags (don't like rape, bestiality,scat and other "weird to me" fetishes)
Latest replies (if people are bitching about the lack of content i skip)
Title can also garner some interest
I also generally skip female MC or Futa MC(but if they pursue a family member and are not slutting out, i sometimes pick one up)

Well 1st of all I check the tag list looking for any major no-nos, then:

- If and how much I like the design
- If and how much I like the plot
- If and how much guilty I'm gonna feel while playing it XD
