a walkthrough is always a good thing, sometime i don't use it, but in a lot of games, it's very appreciated

I already don't have nearly enough time to play all the game I want, playing without walkthrough would be even worse

A walkthrough's essential any time a game is making you choose blind. I hate the feeling of not knowing what content I'm choosing vs missing.

If it were up to me, let it be a kinetic novel, whenever I can I use the walkthrough so that my mood doesn't get interrupted by choosing "bad decisions."

For best outcomes or more content, definitely. Especially if it's either included in the game or a mod.

Only used one when I was genuinely stuck, otherwise didnt bother.

if its a game with a non linear story, multiple paths or where you have to meet point requirements to get the scenes i only play with walkthrough. if there is no walkthrough available i dont play it at all. i hate to try different dialoges where you dont know what requirement you have to fullfil to get the scene.

If no walkthrough would make you potentially miss scenes, 100% required.

Walkthrough, to see what outcome I want without having to play the game multiple times.

I also prefer walkthroughs, usually because the dev's thought process is absoloutely crackers and you never know what rabbit hole that decision is going to go down. I also don't like bad ends, unless they are hilarious like School Days.
