Any form of walkthrough, I honestly prefer it.

Big fan of walkthroughs I'll mod them in. I hate when you miss an event and the whole game just wont trigger because you skipped a WALL of text and you don't know to click the dog when there's a full moon if you want the game to continue because your daughter mentioned petting dogs one time this update. That's a made up one but I've gotten stuck and had to look things up more than once. I feel that ruins games more than a green line of text. Also I'd like people to come up with a system eventually that optimizes ways to make stories branch like mass effect in a way that makes choices matter without, at the same time, making you need a walkthrough or just boil it down to pick the red or blue option. #RenegadeForLife

Walkthrough is always good, even better when its a mod or ingame, cause sometimes you just want to skip all the bullshit and go to the interesting part.

Big yes from me. I'm not really playing these kinds of games to be challenged. And even when I'm reading closely I often miss stuff (should probably get checked for dyslexia)

depends on the game for me, for games that have a bunch of pointless useless crap surrounding the good shit just to force a grind, shove a walkthrough in there. If a game has a ton of paths, a walkthrough is nice to have if i want only a specific path.

I actually fucked myself once playing DmD years and years ago where I was in the 2nd chapter (or season w/e it is) and somehow ended up with a cursed save that always resulted into a game over (also FUCK game overs in VN's). No way was I going to replay everything. Nowadays I get paranoid and save 500 times, and walkthroughs just help to prevent that shit. Although I still save before every scene (if I like the character atleast) incase the galery will never exist and no1 will mod it in. Some galleries are also fucking horrible where they remove all the text from the scene and just show the animations.. ugh.

Even worse that some games just go POOF to the main menu and you may have not saved in a while, that shit makes me rage quit. I got the coins for being in the mines with the boys! I've seen you in there too I think. Might spend them soon, or not idk.

I played that game until CH 2 as well I didn't run into any bug but the content just wasn't as enjoyable until one update i just stopped.

Wasn't a bug if I remember correctly you had to have X amount of love points or some shit and I just apparently didn't have enough since I played it blind. I also never got back to that game, tempting now with a walkthrough mod or something since the game has been completed but eh, even back then it was already "dated".

depends on the game, but in general after a 1st try i run a 2nd with a walkthrough

If it comes with the game, I definitely prefer using the walkthrough

I prefer getting the best outcome first with walkthrough, then going back to see other outcomes.

I like the walkthrough. Im unlikely to play any cultured game twice, so i want to get the story i want first time.

I prefer to have the option to turn a WT on/off, in games that have multiple outcomes that are determined by specific choices.
Some games have a WT, but either choices don't matter, or the amount of choices are so limited, the WT seems like a waste of effort.

All in all, I do like seeing the "click this for most content" option 😁

Definitely Yes.
I like when games have different paths but often you dont know how your answer impacts the story so you cant try all routes

Yeah, I like walkthroughs. I don't think I would use them if there was a little more reactivity in these games, but since the choice is usually between "content" and "no content" it's just a time saver.

I used to do that without a walkthrough until it started taking like 6 hours to get through an entire game while leaving skip on the whole time. I really like games that put the time into making story worth leaving "Read Unseen Text" off.

Yah.

Walkthroughs that simply show you points in games with really only one path are still nice, since the answers are sometimes unintuitive.

Walkthroughs in games with multiple paths with substantive story/scene differences that I'm interested in are a must, though. I mean, even an unlockable gallery, so I can clearly see that I've missed a path, is a big bonus.

My feelings exactly.
