It kind of has to be fun, Custom Order Maid 3d2 Caaan be grindy but not necesarilly and it's kind of fun, or more like, it just happens. And Monster Black Market might get grindy, but it's good gameplay.

I dislike games where you have to grind endlessly (weeks of game time) just to progress to the next stage of the relationship. but then again i also dislike those where there is absolutely no gap between relationship jumps.
I want a little grind, doing a few chores, but needs to be tempered so you the game is not a hour or chores just to get the next scene.

nothing really new to say since a lot of others said it just as well, but totally agree with the whole its a balancing act angle

I quit WOWS because of the grind. Since then, if it even feels someone similar to grinding, I'm out. I have better things and better games to play.

It's fun sometimes, if it it's entertaining enough and if it doesn't take hours to make some progress

True. Who wants to grind in porn games when there are real games with actual FUN and rewarding gameplay to grind? If I'm in to mood for grinding I'm sure as hell not firing up a porn game lol

I personally like games that are kinda like idle games in that you start with repetitive mechanics that you then automate over time then move onto another, with long term accumulation. However I also know that most people want more narrative based games.

It’s hard to find balance. I don’t want to repeat the same chore 15 times to get the next tiny scene before more grind. I think ideally you want to know the map/rooms by heart by the end but don’t want to be repeating scenes for points more than you’re doing things bc you want to.

“Man of the house” feels just over the line of too grindy, if there was a tiny bit less repetition it would be perfect for that style of game.

When I first started “red room” I was thinking how well it works for a sandbox game before it got too dark to enjoy. Great game gameplay wise, but not for me content wise 😬 (warning to not play it unless you like hardcore violence and even then maybe not…)

You make me work for some sex? Cool, you make me save scum every second because you think a randomizer is a good idea? Pass

I don't really see a positive to it, but it really pisses me off when the grinding is just repeating stupid scenes and conversations for some reason.

Always welcomed If matches the reward. Sometimes all things you grind is become trash when you level up. It becames cringey...

IMO, it's gotta be balanced and well paced. Meet & Fuck games are kinda boring but excessive grind is a killer also

depend on the level of grind, to much kill the mod, and a little grind feels strange couse, Whats the reason to have it?

The efforts just need to be reasonable, neither too long nor too short.

Depends on the game and how the grind is implemented. If it fits the game, like it being rpg, like A Struggle With Sin, i'm fine with some grind. But if it's renpy visual novel i'm less tolerant on the grind.

In COM3D2 alot of the grind gets automated as you buy more facilities so IMO it doesn't feel as grindy as some games where you need to kill 100x monsters or get Y amount of gold to progress.

a little bit of grinding is good especially if it is worth it

I want to jerk it. Why tf would I want to grind.
