It's a bit of a turn off for me, I like the more innocent looking characters and a piercing disturbs that image. The same for tattoos. Maybe except a Belly button piercing.

I see them in a similar way as tattoos, if tastefully done they're fine, but as soon as it gets out of hand it's a turn off.

I always think women looked better in like the 70s and 80s when very few had tattoos or non-ear piercings. Of course the unshaved vag was it's own unattractive thing.
