you guys have no idea what your talking about, Love and Corruption it not a thing anymore, he has gone back to Corrupted Love, and all the content (except April) is back in the game. Current is Corrupted Love 0.8.1, and if you want to see the April content you need to have Corrupted Love 0.7.1BE

Well, anger and confusion shoud be expected from your subs when you remove the lolis from your loli AVN along with the hebes too. Most of your fans will unsub from both SS and Discord and not bother to find out if it was changed back or not with every update after. Only way I found out was the 0.81 update after when it was mostly changed back minus lewd April while I was taking a shit on it on F95's thread (along with alot of others) and Ricoh himself basically jumped in and said it was mostly all back to the way it was.

Maybe next time don't go into a panic and wreck your AVN just because some brave guy in some fucked up country 10,000 miles away gets arrested for the same thing (which is not something new that happened, it's been happening for decades)? Maybe only do so after getting legal advice and not before? Too late now, it will probably take a year or more for word to spread that CL/UF is now mostly unfucked up, and likely won't recoup all the sub losses even then, as many hardcore loli fans only wanted the orphanage girl scenes that will never be restored, and if Money or Morals/Ronovan's SS poll is any indicator probably half of loli AVN subs are just there for the lolis.

Confusion I understand, but anger? Why? You're not entitled to the game. No one should ever consider a subscription to be a guarantee. Shit happens. Dev disease strikes down dozens every year. If things change, move it to a watch list in case things change again, and be happy when they do. It's understandable that people would stay unsubbed if the content they subbed for won't be coming, but getting sore about it is just masochism. No game sub is worth stress and bad vibes.

No, this doesn't happen all the time, I can't think of a single game dev in the past 10 years that was known to be Vanned, and it's not you that's had to suddenly consider the possibility of a hard knock on the door, so maybe replace that anger with consideration and that entitlement with understanding.

Ok, I get why he changed it, and why he changed it back. But why was April removed in the change back, it didn't really seem any worse than the other stuff that returned.

Meh if I was worried about a hard knock on my door I'd do the logical thing instead of give up the money and piss people off in the process after screwing them over (esp in Westy's case with $30k/mo on the line): move. Better still: don't make shit that's legally questionable in the first place before you move to where it's legally safe. I think Ketzal did exactly that and he only had 1/3 the subs Westy did at the time. If your country is shit due to it's stupid laws then move to a different one. That aside I really wish laws would be passed making it illegal to scam people with Patreon, Itch, SS, Kickstarter, etc. So if you collect subs selling them this or that in an AVN and then remove it you should be on the hook refunding every former sub you screwed over. In the good old days that's exactly what would have happened. Probably not to the end users since they never saw a half-baked product for the most part if they weren't closed alpha/beta testers but by the publisher. Until that happens, fuck the Patreon business model, it can't implode fast enough and these days only a moron would sub to anyone without at least 1 finished AVN under their belt, with no drastic changes to it that whole time. As I've said before do it the old fashioned way and fund your own damned game development with a business loan and assume the risk of that yourself instead of expecting everyone else to assume the risk (where most banks will require due diligence like researching if your proposal, like making a loli AVN, is legal or not before you even get a dime).

I used to be happy, but then the developer came over to my home, knocked on the door. I opened and he immediatly kicked me on the balls spat on me when i was on the floor, pissed all over my carpet, petted my cat, scratched my car and impregnated my dad. Now i live in a cardboard box thanks to him.

The short version is he's in one of the dumbass countries where cartoons need to look at least plausably 16 (AOC there). Even Lauren might in a court of law, even though to me she looks 12 so I set her age to that. Essentially no one on a jury would say April looked 16, for multiple reasons (no tits, 4' tall, 50 lbs wet, lives in an orphanage, etc). In fact to me I had her age set to 10 because she looked closer to that. Aside from that as usual everyone is 18 (* wink wink*) even though they don't even really exist.

Again, as far as I know, NO ONE has seen legal issues from making games for the last decade until Westy. It's easy to see how the guy could have been complacent, wanted to stay where he was comfortable and didn't realize he was growing into a fat cow for them to nail and milk for publicity, and also his stuff (one of the articles was not even subtle about the intention to repurpose his furniture for the departments office). Hindsight is 20/20, be at least aware where your peepers are. Plus remember, the topic isn't actually Westy, its RIC0H, who... took steps to reduce their legal vulnerability. Which you're assblasted about. Which is why we're talking. It's easy to say "just move to another country, bro." Quite another to actually do it, to do the paperwork, get the visa, and so on and so forth, all on the basis of potential persecution for a game they've been making for what, 2, 3 years? If it cuts his revenue in half to legalize the content but he gets to stay home, that's probably more palatable for him. Neither of the two devs mentioned had any idea how their games would go or get traction when they started development. Which brings me back to, why do you care? Why spend emotional energy caring?

Because you have some warped understanding of patronage? Look no one is forcing you to subscribe to a creator to get their content. Aside from factors such as *gestures at site,* you can sub, download everything, and unsub. I've done it myself a couple dozen times, as "I really liked the game, here's 10 bucks, now I'll get every subsequent update from elsewhere and feel good about it," because that suits my particular sense of ethics, which I don't expect everyone to share. But supporting a creator never has, never will, and never should come with a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE that it's specifically a promise that ALL future content will be basically the same and nothing will change. That's a weird rider to put on the creative process. There's one basic premise for creative subscription services; you like what they've done, and want to fund their continued creation. If you stop liking what they do, then stop subscribing. That's it. No take backs. It'd be weird if it was some rocker bitching that there was a bit too much country in the latest release by the musician that they followed, and it's weird to demand it because the creator got cold feet about potential PRISON TIME and permanent ostracization! Get some perspective, man!

Me, I've made my case and done my time. This was already 75% rewording of what I already said, and I don't expect that ratio to improve, so auf wiedersehen.

EDIT: No, I want to actually say something that's actually within the range of what the OP specifically says should be the only topic of discussion: The Game (I just lost it).

I don't like sidecuts, they almost always look silly and Emily's is no exception. The MC basically Mary Poppins into the plot with no attachments to anyone (until spoilers)) but enough cash to do anything, which feels less blank slate and more lazy excuse plot. The game also leans pretty firmly on the skeevy manipulation side of things, which is less to my taste.

A big issue that it shares with tons of other games is explicit day by day plot progression, which leads to some really fast "suddenly I'm okay with this" moments. Some games partially solve that with week by week progression where events implicitly happen sometime during the week. I wouldn't mind if it and more games in general were more organic; sometimes a bunch of stuff happens 2 days in a row, then it's a couple weeks or months before the next significant change. If he went from meeting them to oyakodon in a couple months, that'd be more interesting than... *checks* four days!?

I do like to chuckle internally at the 'just move' mentality. Like these people have absolutely nothing in their lives but the game and the patreon. Like they aren't leaving behind family, friends and god knows what else so they can continue to be content providers to people who, for the most part, aren't even supporting them but downloading their shit for free from a pirate site.

And I share your POV of Patreon and such sites. It's a tipping service. Not a contract of service where pitching a few dollars is a guarantee of content. You do so at your own peril and always have. And presumably, the people doing so are adults capable of basic reason and making sensible monetary decisions. Don't like something someone you're supporting does? Stop supporting. Simple as that.

Really don't get the issue. Sure, I'll miss April. She was adorable. That's why I didn't delete the version with her in it. But I'm still curious to see the endgame here. And I'd rather the endgame come a teensy bit differently as it is now than lose it all. Or worse, the original fix of cut out all the interesting characters while they executed a time jump. THAT would have sucked balls hard.

Well, considering I went from Ohio all the way to Argentina just to get legally married if I put myself in a situation to where I decided to make a loli AVN not just as a hobby but as my main day job income you're damnned straight I'm going to switch countries if somehow US law changed to where lolis were outlawed like in the other crazy dumbass countries. I don't care of I'd have to build a boat and sail/row all the way to South America to do it and sneak in via one of the beaches (that happens rather often with former Cubans and FL, though that's only 90 miles), though for reliability reasons and to avoid possibly getting caught/jailed/deported I'd rather have the paperwork in order, some are easier to move to than others, but If I was making $10k a month (probably 15-20x the average of the natives) I'd say it'd be fine and I'd pretty much have my pick. As far as leaving family behind, fuck that, they'd be coming with. We don't have that many friends to leave behind anyway if it came to that, most of the neighbors think we're either just plain disgusting or weird.

Maybe only do so after getting legal advice and not before?
In general, I agree with you, but I have a question, and there are countries where for such pictures do not go to jail and distinguish reality from virtuality?

Yes, in fact the majority of the world's 196 countries either do not care about what imaginary cartoons are depicting (simply no laws regarding the matter) or are with laws that are essentially unenforceable (US and all of South America among them). The only grey area is when AI is used to render them, since real people can possibly be used to train the AI, though dunno how they'd arrest a disembodied AI let loose on the internet made for the sole purpose of making and posting loli porn to millions of random sites, every active email address, etc that accept uploads and attachments, particularly with distributed computing power from milions of PC's either voluntarily donated or taken via virus. I'd laugh my ass off and feign ignorance while donating half my PC to the cause if that actually happened.

Ok, you talk about the existence of laws, but what about the law enforcement? In the concentration camp I'm in, you get prosecuted for making porn even for unrealistic pictures, even for your own photos, simply because nobody cares and they need to trample all parts of society into the ground. So I'm wondering about the slightly different side, the more real side, not the paper side.

Well as far as real porn here in the US pretty much everything but C P is legal. Now, that doesn't mean it's also censorship-free. While the gov't can't directly outlaw this or that genre of porn without getting sued and losing due to the First Amendment what they do as an end-run-around is put pressure on payment processors and banks to screw everyone over instead. So if you are like Alex Adams and wanna make incest videos, even when you are not actually related to your costars you are going to have an uphill battle. Most just give up and use the old stepcest workaround until that is banned by payment processors as well, but some give a middle finger to the system and simply rely on crypto and Web3 only (mainstream version of the darknet to some, but it's basically just a decentralized blockchain version of the older internet controlled by a very few telecom companies that physically own the backbones) and it's perfectly legal to do that.

Alright that makes some sense. I wouldn't have minded having April aged up in the pictures the the same age as Lauren and the others, but I understand. Thanks

Well, I've heard a bit about the US and incest aside, porn is freely talked about there, everyone knows onlyfans, but I don't know the legislation, from what you say it's legal. In my country it is punishable by the laws of the junta. Just here the thing is that the law does not mention 3D art, but based on practice the judge does not care. So I am truly surprised when someone mentions the Westy situation and talks about moving to a "safer" country. I thought that in all countries art with loli is frowned upon, although there are regions where children are married off at the age of 12.

There's a huge differences between real life and cartoons/3D/realistic3D. Not everything is frowned upon. All countries are different from each other. For example, I don't approve of real life kids getting married so young or even consent to sex. But I approve of pixels, so long as there are no actual kids involves.

We got smart people, who knows the difference. Then we got dumb people, who doesn't, and it goes to their conscience. Meaning... they think they are heroes in their own little storybook but it's all false.

The situation with Westy is that he's a well known Developer in this line of business. To many, it's a hunt that's about to begin and they should run. To some, it's a fight they are waiting to battle. And to others, it's just one person and they shouldn't give a shit about it.

Yeah if there's one constant in politics is contradictions. In Iran no porn allowed, but AOC is unofficially 9 (officially there is no aoc, females have little to no rights at all for that matter) as long as she is an official member of your real-life harem first and you're married to her, so I guess as long as there's no video documentation of the deed it's fine. But yeah here even when legal loli cartoon porn is probably unwise to talk about in real life social gatherings due to the common but mistaken belief if you are into that then you are probably into real kids too. So if I was making a loli AVN I simply wouldn't talk about it much in real life, but with the anononymity of the internet it's fine. I know long before Westy the dev of Pumpkin had to abandon his AVN due to a bunch of vigilante morons that should be hung with their own guts found out what he did for a living so broke into his place and smashed his PC and all his other stuff. It was probably legal where he was as well, otherwise they could have simply snitched to the cops.

This just reminded me of the petition asking Patreon management to block pages that collect donations for incest VN. You and I see the difference between the real and the virtual, and just because we like something in the virtual doesn't mean we will do the same in reality, otherwise billions of people would have been killed because of counter strike (but these hypocritical pseudo-morals do not remember this).

I don't think I've heard of such a developer, but it's sad, well, there are idiots everywhere, what matters is their number. Anyway, I was curious to know about the legality of such work in other parts of this long-suffering planet.
