Nope the game is dead because the dev was arrested but for some weird reason the moderation team on this forum refuses to give it the abandoned tag.

Well, this thread here is not the original as another Dev (Blackheart, who knew the OG Dev) has taken over to complete the game. That said: it's unclear when and if that will happen, but there is a sliver of hope.

Maybe we should ask @SethBlack i think he is the one who took over the project.
But as i can remember using DAZ for example, if you dont have the rendermodels, you can't recreat them.
I think this must be the reason, why no new update is coming, because no rendermodels.

The only possibility i know of, is to start from the beginning, start making new models of every charakter and try to stay as near onto the first model as possible, and start recreating the als game in a new style and fashion, with the old story.
But as far as this old project is now, it would take years to do that....

I don't know if he had all the rendermodels but seath definitely had some of them because they did some crossover colabs with characters from their games. I think the most logical reason here is that he doesn't want to bring unnecessary attention to himself by finishing a game from a dev that is most likely going to prison because of said game.

I have absolutely no inside knowledge, but if the original dev took a plea deal, part of it may have been him telling Seath not to finish it.

It's australia so anything is possible lol but I don't think that is the reason. Either way the game is dead and this should get the abandoned tag.
