uuuh, hi guys, nice game!
played 0.6... copied my savefile, but in the season 1 it failed to load properly and i choose to "ignore", which basically started the game anew which is not too bad BUT now i failed to get on the meera path and even locked me out of prisha's - but managed to rejoin that one at least... due to probably missing points somewhere (greyed out choices i couldn't click along the way)... now i also tried with the ingame wt... but could some1 maybe explain the important choices for their paths? do i need to go for prisha instead of kavvya in the pool or will that instead lock me out of kavvya's path?

sry, just got confused... guess i need to retry^^


Edit: nevermind... did a "clean" start of the game and suddenly got the former "greyed out" choices, so i could play till the island as i remembered...

Unlikely, since we kinda met Cindy (as the mother of one of the students) in The Fosters: Back 2 School, and she told us she got pregnant after that night at the hotel, fell in love with that guy, but never saw the guy again.

Every optional LI has two opportunities to choose their path. The first one is usually kissing them, but Meera's is how you react when she and Heather change clothes. Heather is not optional, you're always on her path regardless of choices. Lina has not had any choices yet.

i believe my problem was somehow related to trying to use that savegame i copied from the old 0.6 folder, but failed to load and instead forced a start from the beginning afterwards... so some choices (incluging kissing scenes) were greyed out (probably caused some other internal errors with the variables? - seriously no clue, just guessing here) wich i thought was strange as i believed i "accepted" everyone... anyhow, as i mentioned later on i started s1 from the beginning without using any save and it worked fine.
So with the fresh start i got on all paths, so for me the issue was solved (besides, the game is awesome, so another play trough never hurts )

Will they keep everything as is or go scorched earth and age up the characters?

Considering the fact that the mc is the only guy on the island with the girls, I doubt that the game will ever have NTR.

I would be very surprised if there were ever any NTR by the strict definition of it, but there are a couple things so far which might rub you the wrong way depending on how loose your personal definition of it is.

The main one that has caused a small bit of controversy in the past is the MC's sister, Heather. She's the only love interest that is unavoidable, and at the start of the game she is married to another man and has had two daughters by him. She and the MC had a sexual relationship when they were younger, but the MC put a stop to it out of guilt. Then the MC met his future wife, Cyndi, and fell in love. Heather had only ever wanted him, but the MC saw their relationship as more of a short-lived phase that he had gotten over (or that's what he told himself, anyway). Heather got into the same college as the MC and hoped they could finally be together again. She tried to spend as much time with him as she could, but the MC basically just ignored her and talked about Cyndi all the time. Eventually, in a moment of weakness, Heather hooks up with RJ/Arjun, a college friend of the MC. She gets pregnant, they get married, they have another daughter after that. Here's part of the conversation where all of this is talked about, if you want to judge for yourself (at this point in the story, the boat they were on has sunk, RJ died on it, and the rest of them are stranded on the island):

h "I thought when I got into the same college as you, we'd be able to be together again. Then, that summer, you met Cyndi. I still had hope, though. "Just a summer fling." But no... she was the one for you."

h "I tried. I hung out in your suite all the time, while you talked to her on the phone. I walked with you to classes, while you texted her. I ate with you, while you told stories about what she was doing in high school."
h "Then, one night, RJ got drunk and complimented me. I was tired of waiting for you. He talked to me for about two minutes before I told him to take me to his room."
m "I... I didn't know that. I didn't mean to ignore you."
h "It only took that one time, you know? He wanted to wear a condom, but I told him I was on the pill, so he didn't need to. I just wanted to throw it all in your face, but..."
m "You never told me any of this."
h "*sighs* I chickened out... and I felt like shit afterwards. I never wanted you to know. I begged RJ not to tell you, and he was happy to keep it a secret. He didn't want you to kill him."
h "Then... I was pregnant. I didn't even want to tell RJ, but I did, and he talked me into getting married. He made so many promises. He would love us and care for us. He would be a wonderful husband and father... all lies."
m "I thought you were dating for a while."
h "I... I was embarrassed. Other than you, he was the only guy I'd been with... and it made me feel sick to my stomach. I'd been jealous and wanted to hurt you, but I ended up hurting myself."
h "I wouldn't give up Kavya or Prisha for anything. I just wish you'd been their father, instead of him. Once I had sex with him, I thought you'd never want to touch me again. Two minutes was all it took to crush my dreams of happiness with you... one and a half."
m "Heather, I love you. I'm sorry I made you feel that way. I'm sorry I ignored you."
h "But I'm still a slut who gave myself to someone I hardly knew, got knocked up, and was basically pressured to get married."
m "You're not a slut! You never were. Look... I know you weren't happy about the situation, but perhaps things happen for a reason. If things were different, the twins and your girls may not be with us. I wouldn't want to be alive without them."

None of this is ever shown, and the only other time that Heather and RJ's sex life is talked about is when Heather is complaining about how it doesn't exist anymore because RJ is a workaholic that ignores his wife and daughters.

All of that never really bothered me that much. I didn't agree with how the MC had pushed Heather away and into RJ's arms, but I've personally done things when I was younger that I don't agree with, so it fit in with where we get dropped into the role as the MC at that point in his life. Oddly enough, I think the order the scenes play out in help a lot with it not bothering me (though your mileage may vary). If the game had started in the past when the MC and Heather were younger, and then skipped ahead to the present day, I would have found it much more off-putting. I'm not entirely sure why, either; in both scenarios, the player doesn't have any agency over how things go with Heather in the past. The difference, I think, is that if the game started in the past it would give the illusion of agency before taking it away, which is always a shitty feeling. The player would identify more as the younger MC, and would make the situation with RJ feel more like being cucked, rather than a decision/mistake that the MC made in the past.

There's one other thing that happened recently, but not actually in this game. So early on when you/the MC is still at the hotel before getting on the boat, the girls (MC's daughters/nieces) meet another girl while they are there. Her name is Cindy, and she bears a passing resemblance to your (recently dead) Cyndi, which throws you for a loop. Later on, you're getting drunk at the bar with Heather, and you have a choice where one option leads to getting a blowjob from Heather, and the other leads to you going to your room alone and running into Cindy along the way. In your drunken state, you mistake her for Cyndi, have sex with her, and get her pregnant.

In the dev's other game, The Fosters: Back 2 School, the MC is working as a teacher and one of his students is a girl named Kit. In the latest update, the MC meets her mother and it's Cindy. Which means Kit is the daughter of the Our Island MC. And Kit is almost definitely going to be a love interest in The Fosters; she's very into the MC, has already kissed him, and seems keen to go further with him.

Holy wall of text, didn't mean to write that much; I'll put that in a spoiler. All in all, I like this game (and the dev's other games), but there's a few things (that I wouldn't call NTR) that could be points of potential friction, if you're a vehement NTR hater. Hopefully I explained well enough for you to determine if they'll be a dealbreaker for you or not.

I liked the game so far, some nice sex scenes (mostly with sister), was a nice scene with Cindy (from Fosters 2), I like the concept of a story like LOST, but 1 guy and all others girls. Lots of eye candy with the younger girls. Overall it is a fun game.

Last I heard on SS TF2 will be done this summer (probably 2-4 more updates), then OI is back in production, so probably an update of that in the fall/another ~8 months or so.

Our Island has possibly been banned from F95. The Request post has completely disappeared. Only notification I got was, "Your thread was moved to a different forum," but I can't find it anywhere and it doesn't show up in my "Your Content" list.

Renpy games basically works by showing pre-made pictures, in fact a little bit like a glorified PowerPoint, but with branching choices. This means that there is no way to tell the game to remove a part of a picture - they are pre-made and they look how they look. (*)
And removing all pics with Dadi in would of course mean removing a lot of central pics in the game.

(*) ok there are exceptions: renpy can be told to layer pictures on top of each other, and some games use this to show a scene with a static background and switch cut-out characters on top of it. But afaikt Our Island is not made in that way. )

You can't remove her completely, but you should be able to avoid her route.
