The creampie scene at the end you can get is still one of the hottest scenes ever - great sign that the remaster is doing what it set out to do! Great product overall, really solid work DG.

He said in the devlog he is hard at work on the update. Certainly if there are no issues, an estimated window for release could be sometime next month. But there def won't be any promises or anything like that

It still amazes me how well DG is able to replicate Ketzal's style. I know that he got the character models from Ketzal, but everything else feels like it's the same dev doing it. Really awesome job!
When new devs take over a project more often than not, it's a miss. But this so far this has definitely been a hit.

I think that's fine, as long as you don't overdo it, because even small details - such as the correct placement of body parts in the places nature intended - can certainly be significant and, as we can see, cause discomfort in some people when what they expect contradicts what they are actually confronted with.

If you do that, though, you should be prepared for the fact that it won’t just be the usual suspects who’ll get in your way and stir up a bit of trouble - either because they can’t or won’t do any better, or because they have nothing better to do - but also a few more people besides them, and rightly so, in my opinion.
