There's a game called Summer Story where you have twins as potential lovers for a girl. I think you play as one of the twins and have the option of involving the other twin. And clearly some fans saw it as NTR, and didn't want to get him involved. So I guess there are levels to NTR.

I think it is funny, the double standards of many people that download these games. NTR is by far, the most controversial tag in any VN and it polarizes the community like nothing else. As I said when I began, the double standards that exist among many in the community are hilarious. On the one hand, a user loses his or her mind over NTR but finds it perfectly ok to download a title that features a father banging his prepubescent daughter that hasn't even reached a double digit age yet!

That's a false dichotomy, not a double standard at all. If players are against a prepubescent male MC with older female LI's, while for an older male MC with prepubescent LI's, THAT would be a double standard.

The fact then many players have a strong negative reaction to NTR, shouldn't be controversial. I, for one, dislike NTR of any flavor, and will quietly avoid any game tagged with it. The only problem for me, is when a good non-NTR/sharing game is ruined by having it unexpectedly added in an update.

Harem is okay, as long as it's not done in a way that feels contrived.
Sharing is never okay.

"Solo male MC getting all the girls" is most games I come across. Is this your preferred format or are you okay with MC sharing his harem?
I'm not talking about NTR, cheating or the girls doing things with each other.
Would you play a game, where you share your harem with a trusted friend (either just him and the girls or being part of a threesome, foursome, etc...) or where you share your family with a son, father, brother, etc.

Sharing in my definition means MC is involved in the act. Not as a viewer, but actively.

Totally cool with sharing girls with friends worthy of that trust, something I'd actually like to see more of.

I always prefer going solo for a harem, I don't like sharing, swing, or NTR, at least not when it is from a first person perspective. Even if I don't 100% self insert as the character in the game, I still insert some of my tastes on them. I don't mind some of these fetishes as something to fap in a hentai, or a porn video, when it is happening to other characters, completely disconnected from me, however when it comes to games, I would only share if it was a hooker, or a one night stand tertiary character, never a love interest.

That said, I'm not as much of a purist as some harem fans. I'm not oposed to some lesbian action between the girls in the harem. There is also a game I'm playing where there are plans for a femboy to join the harem and the possibility of a sharing scene with said femboy and another member of the harem, this one a girl. I didn't give much of a thought to that possibility yet, but I have considered that I MAYBE wouldn't mind sharing a girl from a harem with another member of this harem, if said member was a girl with a penis. So, considering the femboy would be a part of the harem, effectively belonging to the MC, maybe I would be ok as well, but I don't know for sure.

Live and let live. If the option's there, you can always turn it off. If it's mandatory, why would you download it in the first place? I've never liked it, I just turn it off or not play it.

The most important part is that the story doesn't suck. There are a bunch out there that just need some help from editors, and I don't just mean to fix grammar, spelling, etc.

I don't personally care for harems that much. Especially ones where almost all the women are extremely similar. The other thing is I'm not a control others type person, so if they're ok with free love with others, I'm ok with it too. As long as it doesn't lead to me being neglected.

I prefer games where my love interests aren't considered "spoils", but rather an intimate partner that I'm either strongly attached to or that I have a mutually satisfactory sexual relationship with. Aside from that, I don't really care if people in the harem has sex with each other as long as its an open, free and non-hypocritical dynamic.

Definitely solo. I wouldn't mind playing a game if sharing is avoidable depending on how it is implemented though. If MC's girlfriend is the one constantly asking for swinging, that would be a big no but if there is a way to corrupt her and ultimately convince her to do it, why not. I wouldn't go down that path but that way, I wouldn't see his girlfriend in a bad light and will be able to continue on the more vanilla path with my mind at ease

I'm guessing, sharing isn't avoidable in OP's game? Never heard of it before but the banner looks good ^^
