NTR is not a dream, its a nightmare. Just say NO to NTR!

Well, it works for me, allowing me to enjoy a variety of tags and fetishes. I highly recommend that approach(y)
I would argue that most players are in some way or other immersing themselves into the game by viewing through the protagonists' eyes. I would consider immersion and player agenda an essential part of the difference between movie and game. And if I didn't see the game through the characters' eyes, it would be equivalent to not being invested in the setting at all and thus defeat the purpose of subjecting yourself to it. If I don't care, why bother playing?

Good for you if you can just enjoy the show from a distance and feel indifferent about any possessive perceptions. But I wouldn't call that an approach as much as a trait. It's not something you simply decide on doing, but more the way you are or the way you look at things or enjoy in general. In my case this kind of detachment would only decrease my enjoyment of a game.

Me personally, I dislike it because it makes me feel a great sense of betrayal after I have formed an attachment with said love interest, and me no likey that feeling. Though I'm definitely sure that there are people who are into that sort of thing so no judging. :D

How do you guys feel about it? Like it, why? Hate it, why?

I'm just really curious how the community feels about this genre of games.
For me it is only interesting if I do it

In general I think precise tags are important as was mentioned before. A division into sharing, swinging, cheating, whoring out, etc. would be far better for everyone, since NTR is something that might be well defined somewhere, but is still fought over by people disagreeing with that definition. And that kind of nit-picking resulted in enough dumpster fires at this point to acknowledge that NTR is too broad, ill-defined, misunderstood and whatnot and should be substitued with more clear and descriptive tags, so no one has any reason to get their panties in a twist over that part anymore at least.

I started playing pc adult games 5 years ago and I feel like time passes and slow updates on games mean I might be dead before so many of my favorites never get done. Anyone else feel the same. waiting years seems so unreal but we as the players wait. Like death do us part. are porn movies ntr? ntr thrown in a story is just material to make the game different

Generally doesn't bother me, except when there's intentional humiliation involved, or the MC is actually monoamorous. Given the sexual freedom MCs have in most games, it's kind of hypocritical to not expect that in others.

As for the games with NTR as the main theme, it's not my favorite because the intentional humiliation tends to go hand-in-hand with the specific focus on NTR.

Yeah I usually feel it's quite whatever if it's there or not, can be good or bad like anything else depending on how it's done. But I was never to type to "see myself as the character I'm playing" in a videogame.

It's extremely cuntish for a dev to make it unavoidable, unless it's the theme of the game.

Please let's be civilized
Which of these two Tags has better stories?
or is it more entertaining to play?

Depends on what you want...

Do you want to be a loser, like IRL --> go NTR
Do you want to be a Chad, like u aren't IRL --> Vanilla

I just find this to be a very odd juxtaposition.
Vanilla is not the antonym of NTR. Something can be as non-vanilla as all get out and not be anywhere in the neighborhood of NTR.

NTR vs love or NTR vs harem, ok, this could work as contrasting choices.

I think most NTR is written without much character development of the person getting cucked so it basically has the same impact to me as vanilla.

Gimme, gimme more NTR!
