I am talking about loser mentality, high power people doesn't mean winner mentality, for all you know they might be born with a golden spoon or got to those high ranking positions by others references (the people who have achieved the power they possess by themselves know how to appreciate it, those who had it easy don't know what they have, watch Netflix) but really even if they achieved all that by themselves what winners are they if they like to be pushed down in secret?

You talk about those who reject NTR and say that when they get upset about results in a game, they do not have a 'Winner' mentality. I notice that you do NOT comment on those who, in a game, WANT to have some character that they do NOT control take one or more love interests from the character that is controlled by the player. Is it a 'Winner' mentality for the player to WANT a love interest to be taken by a character they do NOT control?
For myself I do NOT think that I am the MC of any game. I think that I see the game through the eyes of the MC (rare to have scenes without the MC in them). I think that I control the MC's decisions to an extent (since there are often choices for the player). Do I want to have some random (or not random) character to appear and take a love interest from the MC? NO. In most of these games the way to 'Win' is to have sex with the LI's, NOT to have them taken by an NPC. So yes, becoming irritated or upset when having a love interest taken is not unusual.
Your argument doesn't really work. Isn't getting the results wanted 'Winning'? Isn't getting bad results NOT 'winning'?
Honestly, Devs need to be clear about what types of content will be in a game. The 'SURPRISE' NTR is NOT a good thing. If a game's tags show that such events may/will happen, and events in the game build to those results, then those who want to avoid such content will be able to do so (and those that want it will know it's there for them).
Just a thought.

I do play a plethora of different stuff, I like variety *shrug* that incluced even full NTR games (so those with focus on it), just as it does include lovey-dovey-mega-harem games, female protagonist-slut-simulators... whatever

Maybe it's not clear for you: talking about "winner mentality" when dealing about porn games is ridicule. We're just WANKERS. PRO-NTR or against-NTR I simply don't give a fuck. We're just wankers fapping to mediocre porn stories, that's it. We are not curing cancer here.
I don't look specifically for NTR and I usually avoid it because the games centred around NTR are usually worse than average, with exceptions. But if you consider (as many do) netorare when any female character have sex with someone who is not the MC, that seems alarming, a red flag.
If a story and graphics are good, I can play also a VN with real netorare, I have no problems, it's just a porn story nobody wins or loses. MC can die of AIDS or support Real Madrid for what I care. I simply enjoy well drawn pictures with good writing. It seems many of you have problems understanding that fiction and games are nowhere connected to reality.
I play shooter games and I haven't touched a gun in all my life, and I'm against guns. I enjoy The GodFather film but I am strongly against mafia.
If you are a paying customer of course you can pretend something from the developers. As I download them for free, I really cannot complain and I am more forgiving: when I find content I don't like (it could be bad netorare, scat or other things) I simply skip the scene or quit playing. I'm not hurt in my feelings, I did not pay for it, so it's fine. If you pay, maybe you can be angry (but I believe in artistic freedom of the developers). I also suggest to buy only completed games and read the reviews, so you'll know if the plot is going places you don't like.
If a game has got netorare, I prefer it to be avoidable as a challenge, it feels more engaging. But if it happens (usually you have to make a lot of bad choices), I simply go back and try other choices, I won't cry. I am very relaxed when I play VNs, the outcome does not affect me. I understand it's a matter of personal approach and some people are more fragile or experienced traumas in their life. I am not judging anyone, of course.
There are people who look specifically for those "bad results", so in that POV is still "winning". So here you have your winner mentality.

I'm not sure if cuck and bull should be used as broadly as I have them here, since a lot of people think of cucking as specifically having the non-participant in the room watching, so maybe there's a better English term for when a love interest has a scene with a someone who is not the MC and not another love interest.
