MODs right away or Vanilla first?

First play is always vanilla, the second play is with mods. One exception are games with dress up / customizing options. If there is already good stuff available to make my chars look better, then the first play can be modded. What I avoid are mods that nerf game difficulty or simplify game elements.

Mods right away. Experience learns it is not worth it without (in most cases :p)

I'll use them if they're available, but I always use URM. Unless the creator blocks them...

Mod's right way if it's a walkthrough...After all I got introduced into this via a VN

I'm using the available mods right away. I know, it's not serious...

Mods if available, these games are stubborn about giving the choice of potato or tomato with one of them making you lose 10% of the games content and making 0 fucking sense. I trust that if someone made a walkthrough mod for a game, that the game did a shit job of making choices clear.

I've never modded anything outside of Skyrim. If I started using more mods, I'd like to think I'd play vanilla first to increase the odds that I'll play through a second time.

For normal games I go vanilla unless it is a mod that fixes things the company should have done. For porn games I always pick up the walkthrough/cheat mod in the first run and decide mid game if I want to use it.

If the game isn't within my kinks then I'll mod it right away if I can because why not

Vanilla first, mods only come to play of the game is too save scummy or slow and a mod solves those issues

I always play vanilla first. I'm an achievement whore and want to 100% before using mods cause mods and CC's stop you from getting them.

I go for mods right away, but only mods that fixes bugs and stuff, or change very little, then once Im done with my first playthrough Ill go crazy on the mods.

It depends on the game, but vanilla comes first most of the time.
When mods/cheats are used, the game experience is no longer the same and you end up losing interest in the game.

Most games i go Vanilla, though i will may add graphic mods/character appearance options even on 1st playthrough. 2nd playthrough i look at popular mods, and later i go for a more personal style, adding the mods which may add options to character

Generally vanilla first. Unless the game is really old and needs mods to function.
