I am still seeing games jumping up on the LU for reasons I cannot figure out. I see the OP was last edited today, but I dont see a reason why it would get the "Latest Update DateTime2026-01-09 00:00" updated. Is this just an oops from the mod that updated it or am I missing something? I keep seeing these almost every time I check LU. I only noticed this one because it seemed odd that a game with the abandoned tag would be updated.

possibly a cache issue, or a mod forgot to update the release date, any how when i get to it i will ensure the code is correct.

Or it might be intentional on the part of the updater, as explained by fallendarkstar here:

If we don't update the top date, the thread won't resurface when a change is made. The bottom date basically just shows the last change date for the thread when you are in the thread. The top date dictates it's position on the LU page.

There's more to that argument. If you're not caught up on it, it might be enlightening. I suggested he ask YOU how it should work instead of fighting in the thread, and he tried to retake the moral high ground by turning my suggestion on me instead. If he is not using the feature as intended, could you explain to him how he should use it? If he IS using the feature as intended, but it is not WORKING as intended, could you maybe look into that?

Just noticed this too, and not sure if something was missed on it, or if I just don't understand how it works.

Looks like the game was updated based on the Latest Update time, which means it was correctly bumped to the front of LU, but then I see the DateTime field being almost a year ago. Am I correct that when a new update is posted, both of those fields should update?

i hide few page but there are not going anywhere there are sitting back in the page. Look right bottom. i use show 60. lots of content get push back idk why. its normal or my end problem ?

Probably an ID 10T user issue, and I know I can refresh, but I think there should be a link to the latest update page ON the latest update page. I thought the top left corner was it, but it only returns to the main page. I would like to be able to jump to the top of the latest update so when I'm a few pages in, I can start back at the TOP/Latest.

Not sure if this is a site maintenance issue or if anyone else is experiencing this, but every time I try to go to the latest updates page it give me this error:

If this is something to do on my side, does anyone know what would fix this? Thanks in advance

Refresh that page, if it still continues hard refresh

The first forced thread for the LU existed for one reason: I needed people to actually see it, use it, and report what was broken or annoying so I could fix it fast. A lot of you gave solid feedback and I took most of it and implemented it.

So yeah, it’s been updated a lot. Now I need you to tell me straight: what do you think?

• Does it feel better to use?
• Anything still bugged or missing?
• Anything that looks wrong or feels clunky?
• What should be changed next?

If you report a bug, please include:

• Screenshot (or short video if it’s a weird issue)
• PC or mobile + what browser
• What you clicked right before it happened

The reset button for the filters doesn't actually reset anything

This is not a complaint, just stating information. The latest updates page slows my whole system down quite a bit, freezing the screen up temporarily at each instance of scrolling down. It has been doing this throughout the rebuilding process. Other pages / sections of LC don't have this effect at all, just latest updates. Sorry that I cannot be more helpful, but I don't know anything else about this.

Same when I scroll with up/down or use scroll bar it glitches and scrolls erratically.

I've been meaning to write in this topic.
Tags DAZ, VN, RENPY and HAND DRAWN don't exist, so if I wanna filter games by VN, RENPY, DAZ (filter "include") and HAND DRAWN ("exclude"), I can't have that filtering bc these two tags don't exist.

That changes to a lot better behavior, if you switch the view to "List":

I haven't been using the "Latest Updates" page, mainly because it hasn't worked consistently for months and also because I don't really like how it looks. But I checked on the /Games and /Games+ pages today (after not checking for a few days?) and the functionality of arranging the posts by 'update' is gone. It looks like the pages were rolled back to how they were months ago. Why remove functionality?

I need to spend more time with the LU page before making any definitive criticisms, although so far it seems pretty intuitive.....however....
I look at Ren'Py only (I find the other engines annoying and/or confusing!) and setting the filter to this engine seems to work, but only until I leave the page; then it resets to any engine. This is surprising, since setting the tags filter to dump all "censored" entries works fine all the time. Also, when an engine is chosen, the flag at the top of the display only tells you that an engine has been chosen, NOT which one, which would definitely be far more informative.

BTW, why have "censored" items anyway - seems to defeat the object of the exercise, at least on this site

I still have the same issue too. I thought it was my browser or my computer, but it looks also that the LU website needs a lot of RAM.

While i like how it looks and would prefer this on any sub forum here it's taking a lot of cpu usage.
On my end around 30-50% when interacting.
