If you could pick any game from before 2020 to get a full remake what game would you pick?

The first two Da Capo games, or DUEL SAVIOR.

How about the Might and Magic games. Lands of Lore would also be fun. Oh, also Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning would be nice as well.
This is also a great call, but honestly HOMM V doesn't even feel that old.

I'd choose something relaxing like Stardrew Valley or Animal Crossing.

Or build my own world in Mincraft until it's "perfect".
Will I have mod access in my postmortem world?

Jedi academy and the other Kyle Katarn game would be incredible if updated. Yeah, we have other Star Wars games, but there was ALWAYS something great about actually going from a rogue to a jedi. Hmm, may have to see if I kind find those and relay them. Even with the old graphics and such they would be a fun play.

Burnout 3, Need for Speed MW probably...

I think most single player games I'd choose already have a remake. If the remake was good is another question...

Below I list three games that could be really great games in RenPy and with AI animations:

1- Goblinboy TADS game "School Dreams" (2006)
2- Codepink's "Sexfriend" (2003)
3- T4bbo's "Babysitter" (2020) This one is already in RenPy. A "Babysitter-2" version, with the same story, but with lots of more events with the two main characters would be awesome!

Hmm, if I had to choose a game it would probably be Dark Souls. I'm a huge souls like fan and Dark Souls was my first one and I love the vibe it had. When I think about it, having the modern souls combat and multiplayer in that game would be amazing.

Mercinaries: playground of destruction.

Loved this one on the ps2, currently playing it on an an emulator and going to replay the second one on pc. They were making a 3rd but pandemic studio was bought out or went bust befor they could make it and only had a little of it done.

Crash Twinsanity, loved that game when i was a child.

Damn you brought me some memories now, never got tired of playing that game back then... until i reached the mission to protect the helicopter on the second game, hated that part.

Dark cloud or megaman legends. They were both such fun games/franchises that were abandoned.

too many remakes gone bad and lower quality compared to the original, so I'm a bit afraid that it will end up like gta sa and others

Silence (2016) by Daedalic Entertainment, the story is great and would love to see a good remake of it, maybe even expanding upon the world.

Porn game. Probly lab rats, or solvalley with top of the line animations. Non porn game. Vagrant story. More people need to play that gem, and its pretty unknown. Best ivalice game by far.

Both of the Force Unleashed games
I absolutely agree with this.

Doesnt dark souls have a remake? Im not entirely sure as i havent really looked into it.

Also interesting I stopped getting notified of this thread getting replies.

That's a tough question... Maybe Half Life. The game was great back then. Though I'm not sure if I'd play it again even if it they did remake it
Search for Black mesa, it's basically a Half Life Remake, and an amazing one in that,

Morrowind definitely deserves a makeover.
Oblivion remastered was a good surprise, but the game is a meme compared to the mastodon that was Morrowind.

It'd be fun to get a remake of all the rpgmaker with the game engine getting a new update

I'd love to see a remake of Forbidden Siren. It was on ps2 and It was one of the scariest games I've ever played. I never finished it because, at the time, I didn't have the courage to keep going with the story. I still don't, but it would be really cool to see a remake of that game.

Forbidden Siren. ... I never finished it because, at the time, I didn't have the courage ...
I had the courage, just not the "gamer" skills. Years later, I found a cheat that allowed me to get through it. Great, Scary, game. But it wasn't for the casual gamer. I saw one of the developers in a forum making "NO" apologies for the difficulty. He was saddened by the industry's move to "dumb down" games to broaden the audience. Great game! Thanks for reminding me of fond memories!

gothic 3 hands down, new engine and more quests. The variety of the faction gameplay was just so good

I’ve given this some thought before. I'd probably pick Resident Evil 2, 3, Code: Veronica, and 4, matching them to the style of the 2002 GameCube Resident Evil remake of the original 1996 game. Maybe making the Ganados in 4 a bit more zombie-like; it would be really spooky
