How does everyone keep track of all the games you've played?

Haha. I don't. The amount of times I get to the middle of a game and realize,,,wait I've been here before, is unsettling

This is where achievements have actual value: since 360/PS3 I have a rough record of what I played and when. Retrocheevos lets me track what I've gone back to pre-360/PS3.
AVNs? Don't see a need to track that myself . . . if I download the same thing a year later, whatever.

Don't really keep track. But if a game is forgettable enough that I forgot about it, I either get a chance to play it again or it was so bad that it gets immediately deleted.

That's the fun part, I don't. Replaying a good game after a long time can be fun if you forget details

Personally, I sort games into folders

I only usually play completed games so once done, they get deleted. How I then remember that I've completed said game... uh... yeah, that's a problem!

I just don't delete it. If its too much then I'll filter out the meh ones. Used notepad to track my manhwa tho. Guess gotta start using notepad for games too to save hdd space.

I don't... I was halfway through a game before I remembered I played it before

I actually remember most of the lewd ones.

But I also use Lutris to keep them organized. You can assign categories that you make up. So you could make ratings like 1/5, 2/5, so on and so forth. And you can also use this system to tag them as say anal, incest, etc.

The folder name plus the version number, nothing else

Ehhh i just press the watch button on the game thread :)

I need to start doing something like that. For now I've just been hoarding them all in a jumble since I've been too lazy to sort through them all. Keeping all the good ones at least is pretty easy now since external storages aren't that expensive anymore.

I hold on to all the ones I'm interested in so I can go through and check for updates whenever I finish whatever I have been playing through most recently.

I trust my memory when it comes to consistency of what I'm playing.

Just a big long running list in notepad broken out by year. But I only track completed games. Not abandoned ones. Been keeping it since 2013.

When I try out a game, I make sure to index it in different notepads depending on if I have no interest in the game, a "meh" category, and finally an active update one.

I always make sure that I include the latest version, where I found it, and maybe some notes to help me remember what it was about.

What about everyone else? What do you all do, if anything?
Honestly I don't. I really should, but I just memorize my favorites and the others I kinda just wait to see if I see an update to a game and I'm all like "Oh yeah I was playing that"
