I grew up falling asleep with the TV on for background noise, think it took me almost a year to break the habit and start falling asleep in darkness with no lights on. Nowadays I read until my eyes give up on me.

I sleep fine, thanks ......It's waking up that I have problems with 😵‍💫

Darkness - with a noise machine that makes the sound of rain (more to cancel out outside noise than for the noise itself.) Need to take a few Benadryl, too since I no longer drink 4 or 5 beers before bed. I always had trouble. As a child/teen I often didn't fall asleep until about sunrise.

I'm already a bad sleeper, if i'm not in complete darkness and have a fan or something for noise, it only gets worse. Been like this since i was a child.

Completely dark, I hate lights when I sleep and noises to

I always try to make my room as dark as possible, and for a few years up to earlier this year I would play music or rain/fireplace/ambient sounds

In the pines ... in the pines ... where the sun never shines...

True darknes, thank God I don't have any problems sleeping other than my anxiety, but my position of sleep is trash, every now and then some nerve gets out of place.

Mostly i fall asleep with TV on and turn it off at when i wake up or so. otherwise complete dark with nothing on.
