I'll stick with my 3080ti and 3090ti RTX for me it would be stupid to spend more on a marginal if at all upgrade.

For an artist 4090 is the only way to go. RTX 6000 Ada if you are a real professional with 7k bucks budget.

actually no. A 3060 gets the job done so a 4090 would be absolutely overkill. The only time it would make sense to buy a 4090 for it would be if you make it VERY detailed.

But yes, for me I need Nvidia for Daz so ofc the dream is owning a 4090. But for now I am saving for the 3090 which will double my Vram.

Running a 3060 here, wish I could go higher but 1k for a GPU is just not my thing.

I placed 3 Genesis 9 HD characters with some morphs in empty space and used buit-in beach HDRI map for lighting: usage of VRAM is 23 GB out of 24 on my 4090. Your 3060 has only 12 GB, this is not enough for even two Gen 9 HD characters in complicated environment.

here is the thing. Gen 9 is one of lesser used ones. Gen 8 is used more and with that i am fully able to have 5 characters in one scene (well 5 only in specific circumstances but on average its 4)
