Eternum, great shading, textures and lighting.

These three things are usually as important if not more than the model itself. A great model in a scene with bad lighting will look like shit. Post processing can also alter a lot the quality and feel of a scene.
One of the best example of this I've seen is the horror game "DON'T SCREAM". The game is not that good but it looks incredibly realistic and this is mostly due to the tape like filter (and also unreal 5 light being almost magic)
