It's a matter of physical ability. Most of us have jobs, household chores. Of course, you can download five terabytes of games, but they will lie dead weight, just taking up space on the HDD. It is more rational to follow the updates of the games you like and ruthlessly delete what you did not like.
Periodically get acquainted with new games, but at the same time be strict enough in their selection.
Personally, I'm following 9 games right now, that's more than enough. Completed projects, if they are successful, I save them on removable media, if they are disappointing - I delete them.

Child Making Farm is a very good one. The MTL is hard, tho
